There was a certain room in that hospital (freaky as hell) and there were Demon Stars every where. Next time you go back ther (if you do) could you try find this room?
I really wonder how everything could be DESTROYED, and why every little furniture is thrown away or tipped on the side, 't's like after the accident they called guys over there: Hey guys, go trash some furniture at pripyat, will ya?
- OK sir!
- Oh, n by the way, crack some floor tiles to make it look like there's been a nuclear WAR.
Well, you have to realize that there are people that vandalize old abandoned buildings. Animals could get inside and move stuff around, and another cause is the weather. High windstorms could break windows and rain could cause dry rotting and then the floor will fall through. I don't know where Pripyat is located at but it could of encountered a earthquake. (:
@raresore A lot of it is possibly due to vandalism; I think after it was evacuated lots of people went back in for abandoned things and carried off lots of items of value or use, despite the radiation. Cracked floors and the like happen naturally if buildings are left alone for so long with no upkeep. But it does end up looking rather overturned on the whole xD
Its been like 29 years how is there still radiation over there? The only places or things that still have radiation is maybe a bed, couch, water pipes, and a lake and the building with the reactor.
Everybody says its safe, because when they get radiation they don't feel it. It is a real hazard that can cause undesired mutations in your cells that could lead to malfunction, to apoptosis (cell death due to genome damage), and even cancer. You should avoid any high to mid level radiation. If it is a deserted town, it's for a reason. Don't put thyselves in danger. If you go there, please wear the appropoate gear. Don't be fooled by tour guides nor your own ignorance.
@alejandrox1992 Uhh... It was on a tv show, that if you go for only a few hours (up to 10) You will be fine. Your body can heal itself. You'd get the same amount of radiation sitting infront of your TV for a few hours. :)
@KickAssLyrics Yeah, but if you notice, they did take the necessary precautions. Also, about the tv, its not about the same amount of radiation, to my knowledge at least. I just said it to avoid people from exposing themselves to an unnecessary danger. And your body can heal itself by indicing apoptosis in damaged cells, but sometimes genetic damage is caused on a cell's regulatory sistem that disrupts its life cycle and makes it unresponsive and nonfunctional; look it up, its called cancer.

Radiation takes a long time to disperse. In some cases millions of years.
