I am a huge Oregon fan. But one constant I realize about the offense is the fact that their lineman pass the line of scrimmage on some pass plays. Isnt that an ineligable reciever down field penalty? Watch some of the plays.

Uhh, his name is Darron Thomas and he will be way better then Masoli. He is 6'3 205 pounds. Same built as Dennis Dixon. Hes fast, and is a way better passer then Masoli. His one full quarter he played against Boise State in Eugene, he went like 17-30, 215 yards and 3 touchdowns. In 1 Quarter! Who do you have replacing Sean Canfeild?

@bissoc14 Well when Dennis Dixon beat USC his senior year he had a heisman type performance that game and actually he was a top heisman candidate as a senior.I think he was more polished than massoli passing maybe a bit more accurate inside the pocket.Massoli benefits from the Chip Kelly "Quick Tempo" scheme and with two quick tailbacks the Chip Kelly style play-action allows for Oregon Qb's to throw on the run and get outside the pocket.As a pure Qb Dixon was better.

Here's something to chew on.

USC did not turn the ball over at all this game until Barkley threw a completely meaningless pick on the final snap of the game.

Normally, when USC lost, it was because they kept shooting themselves in the foot and turning the ball over. Even then, they would still make the game very competitive and lose by just 3-4 points.

This was a completely different story. USC didn't make any mistakes or anything like that. They were just BEAT DOWN in all three phases.
