Just my opinion, but i don't like the chrome lining/accents on the car. Also i don't like where the speedometer is placed. Aside from that, it seems like a good car.

It would've been nice if you had got in the car and drove it also, so we can see how it behaves on the road.

Mini are so sick in handling, I just wish it was a 1.8L or 2.0L DOHC supercharged for exiting corners faster, not a 1.6 DOHC turbo, That would be a really mean ride, probably not that great on petrol but haha

I don't get the spoiler. Its a front drive car. Having a spoiler would reduce the performance by adding more vertical force on to the back wheels creating drag. If anyone can enlighten me on this it would be greatly appreciated

@Wopmydiego I would assume the car has a decent front-end bias in terms of weight. A rear spoiler would add downforce and in theory would keep the rear end more planted at higher speeds. This would be the case whether the car was FWD, RWD or AWD. Now whether or not the spoiler is aerodynamically functional from an engineering standpoint I have no idea.

Lovely car, but WHY is the speedometer in the center console? TG the production vehicle included a digital speedometer near the RPM gauge. I guess you could honestly tell the police you didn't know how fast you were going. Automatic window switches are located at center console? Doesn't the failed vehicle PT Cruiser have them there too? BUT the folding mirrors helped remove the negativity, MINI kept narrow streets in mind.

I would like to see it a convertible, then come back and pitch it to me.

Slap-a-turbo on it, with an inter-cooler and intake runners; and keeping in mind that a powerful car isn't a sports car without the handling to compensate its power, get some performance suspension anti-roll; a year later I'd have car that'll beat a vette.

Window motors, power locks, and powerfolded mirrors fail in a year after i purchased my mini. Dealer keept replacing them until until warranty expired. Resell value was under the ground.

For 2010 and most years before it, the MINI Cooper was tied with the Honda Civic for highest resale value of any compact car according to Kelley Blue Book. Feel free to look that it. For 2011 it was in second place, hardly "under the ground." I'm sorry you had a negative dealership experience, but your dealership would be best to complain to for those issues.
