sera que veremos a la luz el Mesaggin for IM para el N8?? me molesta que Nokia se olvide de los equipos tan rápido... y se enfoque solo en los ultimos modelos... por eso es que los clientes se les van... olvidan un equipo recien lanzado y lo dejan en la basura a penas unos meses, cuando lo lanzan y dicen q es una bomba y después q no sirve y se van a Windows Phone... me siento estafado como consumidor!

@jrnew01 existen muchas aplicaciones y soft para mensajeria instantanea, yo tengo un n8 y le instale todo lo q tenia a mi alcanse, tengo face con chat puedo ver quien esta o no conectado en messenger y tengo lo q muchos nokai no tienen q es el transmisor fm, obviamente siendo un equipo argentino yo igual lo instale y funciona de maravilla al igual q la mensajeria ya sea msn, face, twitter, etc..

@gustavo351986 gracias, yo solo quería la aplicación oficial y ya tiene tiempo que salio al mercado a través de la tienda ovi, o tienda nokia como se va a llamar ahora, la aplicación es IM for Nokia - Chat on the go que lo que tiene de diferencia es que esta enlaza con los contactos del teléfono... I have a question: i saw in this video that he had nokia messanging email and social, but also had the chat app.. i have this phone and it doesn't have the chat.

I search in the web and is like it doesn't exist for N8. Where did you get this?

totally unresponsive phone, seller didn't impress me so much. why would you put a 12 mpx camera on a phone, more than 6 mpx on a phone is too much also on a digital camera because 6 mpx is enough unless you want to do large prints, lasge pics are hard to handle, hard to upload. nokia wanted to attract douchebags impressed by 12 mpx number.

hope the other features are good, I currently have nokia 5800 a good phone but slow and freezing many times. I like nokia byt 12 mpx is just show off.

I think Nokia emphasize quite a lot on the operation speed of the device even with its 'slower-than-people-expectatio­n" CPU. Perhaps that's because it's got graphic accelerator?

I'm using E71 now. I think it still works great for me for most purposes. But it's just S60v3 limits the potential of apps. I really look forward to the new devices, especially E7 because I must have a real keyboard.

Guys sure iphone4 and samsungs are faster but on the other side it doesnt offer what n8 give.

iphone and galaxy are only for social networking .. the n8 offers that plus multimedia features iphones and galaxy never dream of but in a little bit slower package .. i could live with this fraction of a second lag while having all the other amazing features N8 has got.

Mark, this is a great video. Thanks for sharing that. I have to say that the Messaging solution from Nokia is looking very good by now. I guess the new hardware and OS do make a difference. I can't wait to try it!

Holy crap they designed the toolbar at the bottom the way it should have been in S^1 and S^3! No more two toolbars on top of each other for 5 buttons. Five buttons on one toolbar. I'm talking about @01:00. And it looks exactly as how I designed it on my submission to Symbian. Good job guys. Let's see it across the UI now.

@07liberian The N8 has a very nice hardware, but everytime I watch a video about it, I realize that Nokia need to make a phone that respond faster, like Iphone 4 or Samsung Galaxy S. Today people want phones with no lag. And in my opinion Nokia is delayed in time =/ I used to love Nokia, but now....

@07liberian Yeah, but you got the idea! You can not compare the speed of the Iphone 4 OS and the Symbian (Nokia N8). Nokia it is getting better, but still needing improvements in this area!

At least Nokia can design a properly working antenna. All the speed the phone has is really worthless, when you cannot access the network because of the faulty antenna.

But what I really don't understand is why anyone would buy a faulty product? And pay over 700 euros for it! Would you buy a new car that had a faulty fuel injection? Working properly only when you don't turn the wheel? I wouldn't, because that would be just stupid.

@nuwaus I think its just every Nokia phone is faster than the N97, and unfortunately that's the one I have, it is a shame to make such good hardware and then mess it up with the Software!

@jordannewcastle Yes i agree, my 5800 too was slow with some firmwares, but they release minor firmware update recently and once it installed, my phone faster than ever. everything smooth. try upgrading your firmware i think it will help. :)

@nuwaus My phone has started to speed up a bit (Not from an update as I am already updated) it just has good days and bad days, and terrible days! It is a shame on the Software side of things though. I am ways thought the Nokia 5800 XM was a fast phone compared to the N97, but then again any phone is faster than the N97! I will just have to live with it until I can get an upgrade. :)
