quick question does ur midpipe have resonator or when they made it custom they did not put one? cause i have the blits nur spec r on my wrx and its 3 inch all the way back cause i took taper out..but i left resonator in there cause was worried about raspyness..ur input would be helpful thanks in advance
Tuned it myself. Everyone can do it, check out romraider or buy a motec/AEM/hydra if you can get dyno time somewhere. "tuners" are a bunch of greasy sleaze bags that sell you snake oil. If you want to compete, only see a tuner that works for a real race team that competes in a league (not just for fun) and be wary of those guys that sit around in a shop all day screwing up people's cars.
@feebledolphin It's an External Waste Gate. Some turbo's depending on what boost you are running or how what your specs are, some are internal and some are external. If you google image search like 18g internal wastegate you will see it. The waste gate is what leaks your boost in a controlled fashion once you build up to your peak boost. Example 18psi is peak boost once you reach that the EWG or IWG opens and allows that to escape so you don't over boost and cause engine damage.
Thats a pretty nice setup you have there. If I were you I would just keep the stock BPV and save your money. It works great and I don't care what anyone says, it doesn't need to be upgraded. Its amazing how changing that thing out for something else effects the way the car runs. I'm making over 300WHP and still use it. No problems

Evo III 16G + topmount only works on the 2.5 for very specific reasons: The car drinks E85, and has an EWG. The 93 tune in this video is not very impressive, so I would go with a 20G and/or a front-mount instead.
This td05/16G is still efficient up to 27 PSI and runs that easily on E85 with the EWG. I'll post power numbers after I finish the clutch.

That's awesome I've been collecting parts for almost the same identical setup. Do you have a boost controller? Like a GReddy PRofec B-spec? Or is that not really necessary? BTW why is the cruise control flashing and the cel light on?

A 16g should be good for low to mid 12's with the right driver. I was able to go mid 12's with a VF48 on pump gas.

I'm running a 20g on my WRX with a APS FMIC. Making 400whp ish, i'd definitely recommend it but you are going to break gears be warned :)

if you're from rockland you can probably fill up at the spring valley sunoco to get E85 with any turbo. It's definitely worth it.

yea the nur spec midpipe has the taper, so I didn't buy it.. I just had hybrid connection make a custom stainless midpipe in its place.
