I can't say enough about this man! He is a big part of why so many of us amaze over Jellyfish in the first place. Check out the song credits in the inner sleeve to Spilt Milk in particular, his name comes before Andy Sturmer on a lot of the songs. Just to have his name credited should be enough but that is pretty cool I'd say. Andy and Jason still rock too!
Actually, a better place to review the song credits as to who primarily wrote the actual songs is Jellyfish Best! It's a best of Jellyfish material released in 2006. In it you'll find what I mean- with Andy's name credited solely or/and being credited first. The other tracks Roger's name comes first and there are quite a few "classics" included here. I think the implications are obvious that both Roger and Andy have both individually and collectively, both lyrically and musically created...
