Keep in mind all this program shows is the physical aspect and not even all of it. It doesn't show the academic portion which takes up a good portion of the days, or all the written test that have to be passed or you will be dropped. It doesn't show the getting up at 0400 and getting to bed at 2300 on a good day if you get to sleep at all. To top it all off this is just BRC, it doesn't stop here this is just the beginning school is easy nobody is trying to kill you.

@kikori126 you dont have to be an 03 to go recon. but your not even in yet. you can switch to 03. but if you dont graduate you'll go to an infrantry platoon instead of an intel unit. your choice.

Do you seriously believe that they could air all the things that actually happen during Recon Training? Ever hear of OPSEC? They can't show the hard stuff, because all that is classified. There's a reason for the Top Secret required security clearance when it comes to Recon. Everything shown in this video is the easy stuff. And those instructors, haha. Not including their 2 year platoon cycles after their 1st deployment if they choose to stay. US marines are trained for 16 weeks, disciplined, given a rifle and sent to war, I guess you could compare Recon to RMC

But when it comes to water, of course when it comes to intel mission, force recon "snipers" will get called in. But if anything, SEALs in combat diving, jungle warfare, CQB, etc. Gets the upper hand. Don't get me wrong, I love what the Force Recon represents, but again it's like typical inter rivalry.
