Though i must adress one negative issue, the narrators relation regarding the US getting used to war. Colombia faces a very different type of war, war within their streets, national paramilitairy organisations combating eachother on each street corner. Bin Ladens fight with the US will never get to that level, it fought mainly overseas, a very important difference between the two. Dont exaggerate your terrorism problem, US.

i grew up at that time, i lived in cali; i remember when i was 13 waking up in the middle of the night because of a bomb right next door, my heart would almost halt. also remember seeing a lot of wealthy people, nice cars, etc. and my uncle was involved and got killed the same year as pablo in bogota.

I lived in the atllanta area from83 to 91 abd was exposed to a lot of there marketing consequences.in the late 80s you couldnt hardly walk into a bathroomin in the atlanta area with out someone offering you a bump of some decent snow.
