i have a negative comment to leave...but its not regarding a chevy motor in a ford... here it is..,, why in the hell do you have a SUPERCHARGED 383 stroker installed in your vehicle if your going to "PUT" around and cruise like a Cadillac??? all that horse for nothing. you can put a chrome 1.6 liter in that thing and save yourself some money

@silentsmokey Normally I don't approve negative comments... but this one is legit.... Answer is this. When you spend 15-20K on a motor and another 60k on a car... Your not likely to abuse it. And if you do, its up to you. The owner of this one didn't want to. Matter of opinion.

Fords engines are twice more than a Chevy to build.There is no interchange with Fords.Parts are much easier to get for a small block chevy

Beautiful! My dad has a 34 Ford like that, its black. He got it at 17 yr old, already an antique then. It was our family car and it got lots of attention. The grill shape is nice.

The reason some guys put chevy motors in these fords is because , well , they like the power and reliability . Not everybody wants to drive a weak suck flathead or some wheezebag 390. Some guys actually like to go fast , not just cover themselves in tatoos and call themselves " traditional"

Its a great video for a great car...negative comments regarding a chev engine in a ford do not realize this car had a ford engine and it was not where near what this engine is and you cannot find the chrome for most ford engines of the 302ci engines....therefore if you do not like a chev engine in a ford auto,,,but your own ford and build it to these specifications and lets see who has the better looking ride.....

Ya know, I wasn't really trying to pick a fight but I'd be more than happy to post the pics of MY 34 Ford which is a masterpiece in progress. Will be done in August hopefully. I wasn't saying you don't have a cool car, cuz it's sweet. It's just silly to mix and match!

@hennesseyviper sorry I know it's a little late in the game, but I think your chevy with a ford body is great. Most these people have never even turned wrenches on a real motor and can't even understand the drawbacks of a ford motor (not bashing) but not the easiest to get good, cheap, clean, power out of. Congrats on an awesome car!

This car is kinda cool but I wouldn't give you 1/2 as much for it as I would if it had a Ford motor in it. We have a 34 Ford and we bought a brand new Ford Racing Crate motor to put in it and the professionals that are building the car say it will boost the value of the car sooo much more than if it had a Bowtie motor like this one has.

agreed its your damn car you should be able to build it the way you want it. but fords make power too :) and no offence but I see alot more chevy engines than ford engines in hot rods and general. but very very bad ass car. just wondering how hard is it to get a more modern brake system on a car like that. not too modern but Ive always imagined the didnt really stop that great with the factory system concidering that they was buildt with 30s technology lol.
