A surge from the power grid basically blew out the electrical panel. The fire investigators found that the neutral wire in the grid was somehow disconnected sending all the power to the next path of least resistance. At that moment it just happened to be our house. Most of the damage was to the first floor framing which you can't see in this video.
It must have been depressing watching this take place....
