Oh my god! The grain in that pipe is so detailed, it looked three dimensional! I also LOVE that bamboo band in the shank/stem. Love you, brother. You keep creating these amazing pipes, it blows me away.

GIACOMO, holy shitballs look at that cross grain, Love how you placed the shape of the pipe to be inhanced by the grain and sweet color choice. Nice job on the stem man, matching up the bambo with the stem and spacers looks seamless. Great great, GREAT job Brother. The Master pulls out another winner!

Gorgeous, again. Excellent briar, yes, but as always your magic touch and vision has brought out it's best and shine. I've been wondering about bamboo on pipes, is it a particular type or variety? And does it add something beyond appearance to the way the pipe smokes? Stunning stuff, long may you continue to make such beautiful things.

@terryloveuk It's a particular variety of bamboo scientifically called: "frommygarden"!!! LOL! Normally for the shanks is used the rizhomatic root of the bamboo cause of its tormented beauty. Here i cut a piece of cane i found pleasurable. I think, only my opinion, the bamboo shank contributes to cool the smoke. The hole in the cane is larger than the channel of the smoke, so to create a kind of cooling camera without wet problems, believe me or not. A kind of calabash system.

@giacomomora Thanks, a chamber for the smoke to expand and cook sounds like sense. From my visits to Kew Gardens I know there are many types (and colours there's a nice black one) of Bamboo, I just wondered if some were preffered because of hardness or strength or other properties. Some have longer sections between nodes, some shorter. Because you liked the look of it sounds like a good reason.
