Great Car. I have owned this car for almost 3 years and it is unsurpassed in ride quality and luxury. This is my fourth Mercedes and this one is the most technically advanced of all. Although it does have its issues (AirMatic), it is well worth the money. Just make sure before buying used, that the AirMatic has been serviced or replaced. Otherwise, you're looking at about $1500-$2000 for a good repair.

our s class hit a huuge puddle of water and started to to slip the windows closed seats ajusted and traction abs and esp came on and saved us from falling over the cliff

today my dad and i was driving along a 70km/hr road, and a black bmw was infront of us, then that black bmw slam on the brakes and we slammed on the brakes, my fron passenger seat belt tensioner activated and i didn't move one inch. i was properly placed in my seat. ABS came to work and everything was fine with BAS Plus. This is the car for life. The best car is always the S Class.

@agrah We have this is our E-class. It was icy and we were travelling along at a sensible speed when we hit a patch of ice. I felt my seat belt pre-tensioner fire and my seat move into a more upright position. My sister had got her window open and it closed at double speed. ESP and ABS were both activated and the cars systems helped us out. We got round the corner. The Ford following us didn't.

Mercedes is the best, and thats a fact. Is safety for your family better, or money? If you want to buy a car that is an okay priced car, then you'll get okay safety. On the other hand if you buy a Mercedes your safety is a priority guaranteed...
