its funny how with the level of skill these tenth dan cats have it does tend to look very graceful and smooth. but look at how their "opponents" bodies fly around like rag dolls. this stuff is the truth. the true masters make it look pretty.
little John had a rep that even non martial artists in the hood knew about back in the day. He was a quadruple threat. Weapons kata, kumite. Full contact bare knuckle, and jui jitsu. In this vid he demonstrates his trademark flying kick scissor technique with such grace it looks like he connected by wires. A true master.
I have often compared fighting styles to a form of art. And i am ashamed to say i never knew about this guy till i watched this vid. but he truely makes Jiu-jitsu look like art!
Soke LiL John, Baddest Man on the planet. I trained with him on 226 street in the Bronx in the 1970s and OSU to my old Dojo Brother and freind Shihan Walter Evans , we did lots of sparring and trips to KI, Lou Longobardi
OSU Master Lil John U were and still are the baddest man on the planet,Great jump kick sweep I rember seeing u do those jump kicks at the 222 street dojo on white plains road in the Bronx in the 1970s .I also rember seeing u beat up Tya casel .Talk about ground fighting at its finest. From Louis Longobardi one of your 1980s black belts.

little John Davis is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a question though: is the person that's attacking him,is that Robert "sugar" Crosson? it's sure looks like him
