Vaio P is not only expensive but also Sony made a mistake by using Window Vista in it. Vaio P could be a lot better and more useful if it had Window XP as its OS.
@lexam55: c'mon... everyone knows Samsung is Korean. It started as a little noneme brand and now they are leading in TVs, panels, smartphones... They are an excellent promote for the country, you should be proud of it.
My country does not produce anything, we don't have such brand, we are just assembling german cars for pitiful salaries which are made for world market as well...
its a cool little machine with a very nice finish but i think its to expensive..i mean it would be a good deal if it came with 2gb ram but its only 1gb...
Well, I think if you use this netbook particularly for word processing and other basic things, I don't see any problem. However, if one intends to play games or have multi-tasking in mind, yeah, I agree that this is not good enough :)
Don't be sad because that's not necessarily confined to Samsung. Other companies do the same. It is like they make a profit domestically, and invest the money in other countries. The brand power of Samsung is very strong now, so it is a good thing.

Yeah, I heard that. It's a pity, right? However, this is not only confined to some laptop computers. The prices of cellphones in Korea tend to be higher than those of cellphones abroad. But not every cellphone or laptop computer. However, it is common sensical that they sell their products more expensively domesitcally and sell those abroad less expensively. I don't know what to say about it...

you need to install gma500 poulsbo driver.
The rest works out of the box!
Youtube no problem at 480p windowed
HD video at 720p fullscreen no problem ^^
It's so much easier than windows
