Hey Rich, thx for posting these videos. Do you have one on multitrack audio?

I'm editing a video in which I want to switch between video and still images and back without interrupting the video audio. I have a Sony Handycam file (which shows up as Windows Media, I'm on a PC), and I'm hoping I'll have an audio track separate from the video track.

Also, sometimes I want to use the music from an MP3, and than crossfade back into the audio from the video. Make sense? Possible w/ Sony Vegas Pro 10?

so for example i make a 30 second audio clip (for dance choreography) and when the selected audio is done (only 30 seconds), it keeps on going in silence until it reaches 2:00 even though the clip lets say is only 30 seconds or a minute.. it just keeps on playing. does anyone know how to make it stop right after? Wow, I've been using Vegas for a few years now but I never knew that you could use envelopes like this. I'd just split up the sound track into different parts with different volumes and fade between them. Also didn't know about the audio FX, I always just brought the files out to a different program and worked on them there, than imported them back in.

I found this a great help, but I can't see any videos specific to correcting sound from videos recorded on crappy cameras/phones/etc.. So I was wondering if you have any tips or if I've simply overlooked a helpful video.

I filmed a lot of musical performances and unfortunately the singers and instruments are all wildly distorted and I'm at a loss as to what I ought to do. If you could please help at all or give me any advice, I would be so so grateful!!

Unfortunatly ive followed your instructions re rubber banding but it just dosent take.

Ive also followed the tutorials with vegas.

Doubtless some setting somewhere interfering.

At the end of the day i think most people really want something very simple from video editing, but find it difficult to sort through tutorials with large amounts of information.

That is a little unspecific. What are you rendering it as? Is it just one video layer, or do you have multiple stacked on top of each other?
