Whoa, that's kind of abrupt. "I better run away, no one loves me anymore."
I guess the WTF factor is part of the perfection when it comes to these old cash-in cartoons. We are however SEVERELY lacking in the colored block pyramid department.
Who provided this? Was it provided by Warner Bros., or Sony? (I've seen Sony stuff on Minisode, but nothing from Warner Bros.; I know that WB owns the Ruby-Spears cartoons, but Columbia once owned Gottlieb/Mylstar and Q*bert...)
Find out emails who owns Q*bert . . then mass distrubte it. Tell fans to write in and get the cartoon out on DVD in a classic Arcade shaped box :) That would ROCK! ActuallY i already sent that idea to them and forgot the email addresses... it was to the licensing department... but the more ideas the merrier. Don't just write the Terms and Conditions or Privacy emails . . those might not really go anywhere that matter.
Hi TServo, ignore hootyhaha because i have no idea what they are trying to say... but MinisodeNetwork and thus thus Minisode are part of Crackle, Sony Pictures Entertainments online digital destination for high-quality web series, HD movies, and classic TV.
5 STARS! I watched this when it was out, every episode. I watched all the video game shows back then. Frogger even had a cartoon many people forgot about or don't know. I wish all the video game cartoons made from the 80s would get released on DVD box set.
I remember playing Q*Bert the video game and watching the cartoon. I even had my mother design a Q*Bert costume for Halloween one time. Looked nothing like the video game unfortunately. :(
Flash forward 20-25 years, and the only thing corny about this minisode was the theme song (no offense MinisodeNetwork)
I remember I did that one time. My dad found me hiding in the tree in our backyard. My adventure lasted for 5 minutes and I was grounded for a whole month!
Was Q-Bert made by Ruby Spears or Hanna Barbera? Lol! I hear "What are you laughing" when doing the classic bubble quote "@!#?@!" Thought it was an electronic voice over for the arcade video game!
I love how the teacher says that the Indians were friendly. No wonder why we are so naive as kids! I didn't watch the Saturday Supercade but I heard about it. This takes me back to Saturday mornings. I think it's the background music. It reminds me of cold cereal and wasting daylight inside.
Atari I believe was the original console but I had a copy of it for NES. They had an arcade booth for the qbert game too. It was kind of like a puzzle game qbert jumps on blocks avoiding the blocks with snakes and other creatures. Every time he jumps on a new block it changes to a different color. So you are supposed to jump on every block at least once. The more advanced levels you are supposed to jump on them at least 2 times or 3 times. I never got higher then the 4th level or so.
How... how do you make a cartoon out of such simple video games....
And wasnt Q-Bert a character on that ripp off of Captain N where all the game characters were traped in the real world, Power Team or something like that...
My god this is terrible.

Nah, Qbert is cartoon based on the fun video game that was popular in the 80s. I loved playing this game, though I wasn't very good at it.
There was also a cartoon version of Pac-man, Pitfall, and Donkey Kong. Cartoons of the 80s were the best!

Qbert is what evolved when Snorks were able to breathe air on land
