If the bass miss the frog on the top water strike, let it drop and they will chase it to the bottom. I have landed a ton of fish that I missed on the initial strike by letting that dude sink after they go for it. This top water is meant to be burnt over the top like a buzz bait to trigger a reaction strike

Ribbit frogs are awesome but i like the frog with the plastic body and the skirts for legs .. they are awesome and have better action

You are reelin in the frog to fast, you need to jig it slowly on top. ;)

Ribbit frogs are best used in the morning when the sun is just coming up bass will tear the fuck out of them

i texas rig mine all you need is a bullet nose sinker and you got yourself a texas riged ribbit frog

yo u should pause your reel every so often like its lookin for where its goin also i use the melon red and pearl ive caught most of mine on that color dont use mono get a baitcaster and use braid i suggest atleast 30lb test i use spiderwire steath its virtually invisible in the water ant the line will cut through vegitation
