are you kidding me? the sidekicks are plastic toys, ive used the sidekick 3 and LX still have them in my room collecting dust..get an iphone you will not regret it.

also, as far as music goes, you see crisp and large album artwork for every song title, its a full iPod inside the iPhone, nothing will EVER beat that.

Texting on the LX will seem easier at first because its a physical keyboard, but the iPhone keyboard will grow on you and become much faster, no lie. I can type chapter books on mine!

if u didnt know verizon does not run on sim cards the only networks that run on sim cards that i know of are: cingular(att),t-mobile and some us cellular phones i saw having sim cards too so just so u know verizon has no sim cards

it will not work. Not as easy as it seams. i restored mine with custom 2.0 firmware and modified baseband info. all of us are having problems with the unlock working for more than a day. than it just looses carrier.
