apparently Johnny Depp is going to play Freddie, as good an actor as he is, I dont think that anyone could give Freddie justice on the "big screen"

In response to the movie suggestions, I don't see why Mika can't play Freddie in his early days and Johnny Depp pplaying him in his older days...
Though Orlando Bloom is a good suggestion too....hard choice!
Though if this movie were to eventuate, I'd be first in line for movie tickets.

I always thought that Marc Anthony kind of resembled Freddie ... and he can sing, too. I'm not sure if I'd want him portraying him, tho.
