  • still loud hondas are goog and quiet but dont really push the watts they say these are loud unfortunatley but they run 4 ever and actually push a little more watts than advertised on thee usa products

  • it looks like the muffler is backwards.

  • The one thing I never liked about Tecumseh engines. Tecumseh two cycles are quieter lol.

  • I tried that too, same shit those engine internals are loud as hell! cheap piece of shit!

  • @GGGRRiny loud because it's a solid lift cam setup. An OHV engine would quieten it some

  • I THINK IT'S LOUDER THEN BEFORE LOL.

  • @khokhar703 WHAT DID YOU SAY???? I CAN"T HEAR ANYTHING!!!!

  • This is why I believe in Honda generators...... Way quieter and way more reliable.

You get what you pay for.

  • You can buy thermal exhaust wrap from the auto store and wrap that exhaust line then do the rock wool insulation around it.

  • i tried to do the same thing to a big generator but it didnt turn out as quiet as i would have expected or wanted. One thing you could do from here is look for rock wool insulation can be bought at lowes online which can withstand 2200 degrees and is water proof. I also live in La. and know about hurricanes like Katrina. I bought two honda eu2000i and converted them both to low pressure propane and natural gas, ask for tri fuel which keeps gasonline. company is uscarb.com 1 800 553 5608

  • There's not much that can be done to reduce the noise of these generators or else the manufacturer would have done it. Just buy a 3,000 watt Honda inverter generator or a 1,800 RPM diesel generator and that will solve the problem. (Of course it will costs you thousands of dollars vs. hundreds for the noisy generator but hey - it's only money).

  • I think it's louder than before....not good.

  • Generator is running very fast there, maybe you need maximum output, there's a screw under edge of tank to lower it, I find that the bore of car exhausts if (obviously) far too big on a 200cc generator (don't know what yours is) you only need a 1/2 inch or so hole, doesn't affect running as long as you don't go tiny, I often do it on generators.

  • still sounds like hell.

  • what a fucking retard using heat duct pipe I bet its even taped on there with duct tape

  • @bytmeh you're not very smart. it's flex exhaust hose... maybe you should educate yer self before you try to talk smack

  • @crazydude329 eat a dick homo its still a piece of junk just like your face

  • @bytmeh lol i didnt say it wasnt haha you just made a fool out of your self ha

  • @crazydude329 rather be a fool than experience what you are going through loser. Good luck with that

  • @bytmeh umad bro?

  • before/after would be nice

  • What does it sound like without the anti-muffler?

  • HAHA, WHY NOT A :BEFORE AND AFTER???? LET US HEAR IT WITHOUT THAT MUFFLER ON IT. MY GENERATOR IS LOTS QUIETER THAN THAT !

  • Is this suppose to make it louder?

  • damn, thats loud as hell

  • Still sounds pretty loud...but good idea though.
