kinda missed the mark on this one. First off never buy a sony DSLR they are a complete rip off as are most of their products (except TV's) get either canon or nikon. I guess if your taking stills for video the video still capture will save some time but the photos will probably suck as you will have no control over exposure. Flash is not necessarily a bad thing either, just use a very low setting on your flash (-2 to -3) and you will not have a problem with shadows if your lighting is proper.
how did you get started reviewing all these products ?? and do you get any freebies to keep ?? ... the reason i ask is id love to do this i.e review pc parts nothing else well maybe .... id really love to know this ... cheers Rodney and keep up the good work, its people like you that put these products to the test and let us know what there like before we buy. :)
maybe haha. hey rodney i was hoping you could help me with something. would it be a good idea to buy a used alienware case from their ebay store? its so awesome and it has potential for a monster build.... any ideas?
no i wouldn't recommend alienware cases. you can get sorry better quality cases for the price tag the alienware cases have. They might look good to some (I don't like them, I would go any lian-li case when building a monster build) but their are not the best quality compared to their price and moreover most cases in this price range have better placement in terms of the hdd-cages, 5,25"/ 3,5" cages etc.
I didn't miss the point I just said I prefer the quality of my SLR photos. As far as cropping is concerned it's a no brainer really, a few more seconds taken, wow!
oooh, that explains it xD i was almost thinking that you were accidentally recording the moans of a ghost or something....or the aliens like Zintos said XD

so what about the audio? ur using the mic of the camcorder?
Hanzyyy 3 years ago
I'm using the mic on the camera, but have it set to 2 channel audio (not 5.1). I do use a pro mic for the sound level tests on fans and such though.

Cotton926 3 years ago
How many megapixels does the sensor on your camcorder have?
RickyTomatoes 3 years ago
A max of 10MP for the still pics. I use the 7.6MP 16:9 setting for taking pics though.

My video camera shoots stills too but it'll never have the quality of my Canon 450D. Thanks Rodney.
Rowdyeh 3 years ago
you missed the point the cam shoots the pictures and video in the same HD res so its easy to edit videos/faster rather then cropping the pictures etc

Someone upstairs moved a step stool over the floor. It has rubber feet so it makes quite the noise when pushed across the floor.
