as much as i disliked ff7, this scene was probably the most powerful scene in video game history....that was the only boss i've actually fought angry...... so many years ago and the scene is still powerful....

Easily , THE saddest scene in ANY FF. EVER. i legit almost cried when she died... not that i liked her, it was just done in such a horrible way... really? she was "the last of the cetra" we couldnt just let her live??? i thought it was horrible, especially because she was praying for Holy. I was glad in the end when Holy stopped Meteor, because I thought of her again :x

@KewlLagoon You know a lot of people ask that question. Here the answer, Phoenix down in the game says "revive KO". Not really revive from the dead. So, that why Cloud didn't go "Lol! Noob I got like Phoenix downs..." Hope that clears that up for you. XD

Yeah right! You obviously haven't played MOTHER 3. After playing that, I don't see how this is sad in any way. The only way this is sad, that it adds bad emotional music at the end.
