I prove people can hear what they want in a song. Despite lyrics all I hear is sex in the melody and rythm (so intense!), and hear only the "rising higer" part :).But I have a similar feeling with a couple other of their songs. Probably says more about me than them though. Some songs give me the urge to dance, but I feel the only adequate type of "dance" here is done with a partner and it isn't waltz. Wish it lasted longer.

Wicca isn't the same as witchcraft. They follow the same guidelines of the Rede to a point. Wiccans borrows from older pagan beleif systems YET strongly shuns the naturallness of balance (i.e. refusal to acknowledge the darker aspects of both magick & Diety - choosing to only see/worship the good), a witch won't. Witches borrow the term Wicca because its more acceptable to be a Wiccan than a Witch.

As I have mentioned here before the Lucifer they are more than likely talking about is the one from the Italian belief. Lucifer the god of the sun light and wisdom, Brother to Diana the goddess of the moon magick and the earth.

To a believer, the passage has a double meaning. It is refering to the king of Babylon at the time, yes, but it also makes the point that in as much as the Babylonian king ruled Babylon, Satan ruled Babylon.

Wicca isn't the same as witchcraft. They follow the same guidelines of the Rede to a point. Wiccans borrows from older pagan beleif systems YET strongly shuns the naturallness of balance (i.e. refusal to acknowledge the darker aspects of both magick & Diety - choosing to only see/worship the good), a witch won't. Witches borrow the term Wicca because its more acceptable to be a Wiccan than a Witch.

A lot of the fluffy bunny tones it down or omits it completely, but those who truly study the religion knows that there are two sides to a coin. That is why I am damn careful dealing with both.

She hasread 1 or 2 books & lots of websites but has never done a ritual, or attempted magick in any way, yet she feels she deserves the name Witch. She also thinks that because witches can be wiccans, but not all wiccans are witches that means one is less than the other. I am struggling to xplain this is not the case.

In Gospel of the Witches (which the author was told was Italian Witchcraft; not Wicca) Lucifer is the consort of Diana. Her lighter half as She was considered a dark aspect of the Goddess, Diana bore Lucifer's child Aradia.

Desire is like lust sort of, which according to the Christian faith, is one of the major sins, of coarse associated with Satan. Oester, Yule.. And Samhain most just call Halloween [Some Christians believe this to be Lucifers birthday.] It's quite interesting.

Lucifer was for a long time an attributive name for Jesus himself too - and in no way afflicted with any "negative" content. It was used as christian a name. A good example is the Sardinian bishop Lucifer of Cagliari, who lived in the 4th century.

Lucifer is not an Old Testament name for the devil or Satan. The passage in Isaiah 14:12-17 is directed at the downfall of the arrogant Babylonian rulers who took Israel into exile. The term Lucifer was popularized in English from the King James translation. However, the name does not come from the Hebrew or even from the Greek translation (Septuagint), but from the fourth century AD Latin translation of this verse. What does this mean? To a believer, the passage has a double meaning. It is refering to the king of Babylon at the time, yes, but it also makes the point that in as much as the Babylonian king ruled Babylon, Satan ruled Babylon.
This verse is similar to Ezekiel 28:12-20, Refering to both the King of Tyre, and a being that "Was in Eden, the Garden of God" and was "full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty". This obviously does not describe a mortal man, king or otherwise.

I am part of the Legion of Mary, and we refer to the Virgin Mary was Lucifer occasionally because she is the bringer of christ's light.
In older, more traditional Catholic texts and prayers, the word Lucifer is used for Christ or God, and not for Satan.
That being said, I am not a run of the mill Catholic... so yeah.

Saturn, or Satan would be the adversary. He whom opposes. Also, in Satanism/Luciferianism he is the self. His manifestation is flame, that in which is the inner thriving desire, the emotion radiating of self. Emotion, thought, need, desire, etc.
Ahriman, Samael, or Lucifer would be the bringer of illumination, or, you would already know the bringer of light. He is the morning star, the one that comes from the east. He symbolizes wisdom, the expansion of self, reaching your greatest potential.
