So did you use hyper SIM to let it work in US? Does it have US 850/1900 MHz 3G bands? Is it Resistive or Capacitance touch screen. The control looks choppy.
no, I just downloaded the sound myself, and converted it to a MMF file, then used that for the phone open/close sound (there's a setting for that under sounds & alerts)
hey dude i know you from hwz! mind telling me what software u used for the conversion? i tried some and the converted mmf cant be played... :(

I'm not in the US, so I don't know.
I am using a hyper SIM though.
It's capacitive I believe, but you can double check to make sure.
If you think the control is choppy, then don't get the phone. Simple.
