I have a 360, I have finished the campain for both games and played some multi, but Resistance2 all the way, for the great storyline, scale and gameplay, Gears2 is still cool. Ps3 has the best games i'm so jealous I really want to get ps3, especialy for Resistance2 and Killzone2

Ok lets settle this. The xbox has halo, gears, and L4D. The Trey has killzone2, resistance1 & 2, uncharted 1 & 2, littlebigplanet, heavy rain, motor storm 1 & 2, Metal gear solid 4. Massave action game coming out soon (256 players online). All these games are HUGE!!! It would take an xbox 15 dics to make KZ2. Xbox has a failure rate of 35% PS3 1%. I can go to netflix on the ps3 web browser. Do i have to go on??? The Trey is the best system to get. PERIOD!!!

The only reason Resitance 2 looks better is because R1 was already shit. They just improved it a little. GOW on the other hand was a AWESOME GAME and its kinda hard to improve upon it. GOW2 is better IMO.

@kidothebuddyboy I play Xbox 360 slim but I have played Resistance 2 and I know Hale and other Sentinal's are much better and skilled at fighting, Sentinal's are very rare and fight for the human resistance. Cog"s are tough, theres Baird, Cole, Fenix, Dom, and Anya in GOW3 but the Sentinal's are half Human half Chimera. When they were infected by the virus they were immune but if they dont take a special shot there chimerian virus will grow and they will turn into a creature known as "Daedolous"

I think Gears might have a better single-player experience than Resistance 2. But in no way is Gears 2 better when you have more than one person playing together. That's why my friends come to my house to play Resistance 2 and when they are home they play Gears 2.

Resistance 2... both games are good, both games have things over the other graphics-wise, same with the gameplay. but r2's campain is longer and it has 2 seperate campaings (a single and multiplayer campain), but in the end its the multiplayer and that mostly contributes to the reason that r2 is better than gow2

There's a huge difference in feels between a 60 person online and a 10 person online. One has the feeling of chaos and war, which is what Resistance 2 is trying to pitch for campaign AND multiplayer, while Gears 2 has the feeling of fear and desperation, which is what Gears 2 is pitching for campaign AND multiplayer. Limited people doing 1 life rounds is amazingly fun, whatever anybody says, just like 60 person chaos is fun as well. It all comes down to being super strategic or CoD strategies.

Resistance 2 has the following:

1:UP to 60 online multiplayer.(Deathmatch,team deathmatch,and others)

2:A much longer, much more detailed story and campaign.

3:MUCH more diverse and incredibly open environments.

I have both consoles, and both games. Resist 2 is an all around better game. Not to say Gears2 is not an outstanding 3rd person shooter, but that's where it ends. It's campaign was weak in the aspect of story and play together. Its multiplayer is a HUGE let down. Pretty graphs tho.:/

I pick R2 due to its fair length in nathan hale's story line and yet another campaign which has its own story about the other troops fighting the chimera. 60 player online sounds laggy but its actually the first game I played without noticing lag or frame rate slowing, a masterpiece that should have gotten 10/10. I haven't gotten into the unreal tournament TPS kind of games but Gears and Gears 2 is an acceptation, very epic story line, very good graphics, and very fun.

Gears 2 online could be A LOT better. It has it's moments, definitely. But still, saying R2 doesn't require teamwork? That's insane. Maybe it's just harder to notice it with 60 people running around in a detailed gigantic environment, rather than Gears' 10 in a tiny boxed in closed environment.
