When we sat in the stands, I would put the earphone in my ear to listen to Larry. Those were good times... listening to Larry call the Dawgs in Sanford Statium. HOW BOUT THEM DAWGS!

Personally, as a Georgia grad & fan, and growing up an Auburn fan, I actually enjoy watching the historical highlights of many SEC teams. It's very disappointing to see what the anonymity of the Internet has done to "discussions", otherwise known as yelling matches, about SEC football between SEC fans. It's the greatest conference in the land and part of its lore is some the great team announcers it's had over the years. John Ward of Tennessee comes to mind. But, Larry would be voted the best.

Personally, as a Georgia grad & fan, and growing up an Auburn fan, I actually enjoy watching the historical highlights of many SEC teams. It's very disappointing to see what the anonymity of the Internet has done to "discussions", otherwise known as yelling matches, about SEC football between SEC fans. It's the greatest conference in the land and part of its lore is some the great team announcers it's had over the years. John Ward of Tennessee comes to mind. But, Larry would be voted the best.
