Great production. Little did they know that the winds of change REALLY WERE BLOWING in history as well as the near future. This production was in 2007 & Hank Paulson, newly appointed Sec. of the Treasury & Cheney watched as the global economy started sinking. Hank Greenberg had already been forced out of AIG by Elliot Spitzer in 05.Spitzer was forced out in 06/08, Mkt meltdown 11/08, Barrack Obama is then elected as the 1st black Pres. to a God awful mess. Ship of state on the rocks...
What an outstanding looking show! Tom Stoppard is a genius to create such an epic that belongs on the stage! I'm so sorry though that I missed it - I heard that it was breathtaking... One of my favorite plays of all time (and one of my favorite playwrights.)
that would've been TOUGH with this show. I would have loved to have seen it also, but that's what theatre is. You miss it, and you could either feel terrible for missing it, or you go see more theatre, and talk up what you've seen! haha

@piazzalover Well... I live in England and could not find any productions of this lay in any of the theatres... And it certainly does look very good!
