Respectfully he is incorrect to say "the American frontier". It was mainly in Canada (Upper Canada or "New France" and Lower Canada back then)/Eastern North America.

America didnt even exist at this point. The French Indian Wars was fought mostly in Quebec and Ontario.

Give or take the French had the Huron, Algonkian Indians and others as their allies and the British had Iroqouis and others as theirs.
