Being an immigrant to the US who went back home to visit for the first time after 14 years I can totally relate to this documentary. The feeling of alienation, feeling alone yet surrounded by family you left behind. Time abroad changes everything..its only when I went back home when I realized how much I had changed and how much I didn't fit in any more. Luckily I had US citizenship so I had a chance to come back but I think every immigrant can relate to the

fact that when you go to a foreign country and spend so many of your years there, especially if you go there young, "you can never really go back." even if you go there physically. I can only imagine how much worse things could have been if I had kids and left them there before I came to the US. Touching documentary thanks for it!

This was such a touching documentary. For a Mother to choose to leave her children to go work in another country to make a better life for them but for 15yrs... Its so sad that her decision cost her that connection that only a Mother and her children can understand..Love this channel I am huge documentary buff!

It's hard to be a mom when the father doesn't support her and the children. And of course the children felt lonesome after she left, children need the support of their parents. But anyway she was forced to leave them for their good, even though the situation was different going out there. Sad story!!!

beautiful movie, but she should have thank her mom, her mom did a good job raising her kids. And she worked so hard but trusted the wrong people. sad movie. I cried.
