  • she is our choir piano player she is soo nice she went to college with my mom and she is an amazing piano player you rock mrs. mclarey!

  • amazing!! never saw a pianist having so much fun while performing. The clapping with the right hand was delightful. =0

  • "I wish I were back home in Peoria"!

  • i thought the end was never going to come!

  • does anyone know if theres sheet music for the gospel part at the start?

  • @danvanhayden Just search for flight of the bumble bee.

  • @danvanhayden I dont think there is. When Julie learns a song she adds alot to it, to make it sound better. If you want sheet music you would need the pianist to play on a piano equiped with a midi strip that way you could record the song the exact way the pianist played it. I think at this rag time contest they should equip the piano with a midi strip and record dthe performers songs.Julie Is currently my piano teacher I just started lessons at the age of 16 around 7-23-11 so around late July.

  • @danvanhayden

I do not know of the sheet music to the gospel part, but the name of the song is "Just a Closer Walk With Thee". Hope this helps!

  • The weird smiling and turning to the audience is just weird. It makes me feel afraid in the same way that clowns do.

  • @Jonboyutube me too, i dont know why she does that

  • oh god, I want to bear this woman's children :o !!!

  • Just A Closer Walk With Thee. :)

  • Very Good!! Down load more for us.

  • @1ragtimer UP load...

  • Now thats how it's done! Great Job! can you send me a picture of you?

  • She makes playing piano look the simplest thing it the world!

  • Julie, thanks for showing everybody how it's done!

  • I loved hearing "Just a Closer Walk with Thee" in a wonderful old time New Orleans style. Her smile is infectuous. Love it!!

  • @MrTunetickler Where can one, say me, learn the New Orleans styles? they are so cool and especiallly for this song. Also how does one get do two different speeds at the same time as she does in the Bumble Boogie piece? Not so fast in left but extremely faster in right? Practice or what?

  • @jlh2667 I suppose that's just about practice and study, mate. For both speed and style.

  • @jlh2667 HA -- that's the whole trick. Just relax...

Don't practice, just play, and play, and play...

  • oh my.....

    Wow.

  • The first is brilliant! The boogie..... mmmhhh I'm doing it much better

  • Brilliant !! I really enjoyed this performance, 10**********

    Nick.

  • Julie truly draws an audience into her playing. I feel, as I suspect others do, you just want to hike up next to her and feel her passion for tickling the ivories.

  • Wonderful technique.

  • Wonderful.....Thanks to Mike and Linda for sending it to me...

~Queen Joan~ on the La. Bayou
