I expected 2009 to be another growing year for the Wolverines, and I expected us to finish 2 or 3 games under .500. But obviously, Michigan is ahead of the learning curve. Ya, the thing that scares me about our basketball team is our interior defense, and the rebounding! It was so frustrating watching us beat NC Central on Monday, a team who was 0-14, (now 0-15) they were getting beat by an average of 37 POINTS! He's supposed to be better then Jerrett Smith and Kelvin grady but not as good as Danile Horton. i'm not sure if Lucas perry will come in there and tear it up, but look for him to be our starting PG for most of the season. And IF Lucas perry ends up being the enxt Rumeal Robinson like Tim McCormick predicts him to be, then Michigan will make a push for the final 4 this season

If there were any doubts that Michigan doesn't ahve talent, they were laid to rest today. Yeah, Michigan went 10-22 last season, but when your a moribund program like Michigan and 8 of your 12 players on the roster are either freshmen or sophomores, not to mention when you are in a tough conference like the big ten, a 10-22 season isn't surprisng. But now Michigan has lots of experience, and their high level of talent is showing

And oh yeah, John belien knows how to coach. He's done a great job at both installnig his sytem while also adjustuing his schemes in ways that allow Manny harris and DeShawn Sims (guys who aren't "his players") to be dominant. Sims is an absolute beast now low. All American anyone? Belien is proving yet again what a fantastic head coach he is. The future of Michigan basketball is indded bright, whether or not we go dancing this season
