He'd get owned in MMA... That kick is actually kinda cheap. He "slipped" and fell down during the kick, so that even if he missed, the ref would pause the fight and let him get back up. In other words, if he missed, the other guy doesn't get a chance to counter attack, because he's on the ground. MMA, you'd get pounced on and put into some kind of hold.
