you can buy empty palettes from freestanding mac stores - they come in 15 or 4 pan containers. :) You then can either depot your mac shadows to fit in or you can buy them in palette-form, again from freestanding mac stores. :)

If you can get the same look using fewer products then do what works for you. Often different colors are added to give depth. You do not have to do everything exactly or with the exact same shadows - these tutorials by most the artists are to give you a foundation of knowledge that you can use to suit yourself. :O)
