Where I live Conspiracy Theory is not even shown at all any more, and there is not any episodes on-demand. They don't do reruns. It is almost like it disappeared from the face of the earth. So if it isn't on youtube I can't see them or show them to others. It really sucks. I hope something can be done about this. Doubt it though.

it should never delete any shows after a period of time.... that would be like the same thing as your computer automatically getting rid of files you saved... its a hard drive .....the only other explanation would be that to make room for a new recording it would dump other files but even thats unlikely because it would ask you first if you wanted to do it....

DVR's have also been deleting rolls of tinfoil from peoples houses for years, so they can't make their tinfoil protector hats. And if you try to keep your tinfoil safe in a black box the FBI will find it and claim they didn't. lol

@GroddGuerilla thanks for your suggestions...I'm far from a conspiracy nut. I DVR'd the Ventura shows for entertainment, its TV "for fuckssake"! I thought it was funny that all of the Disney movies I DVR'd from years ago are still there, but not the CT ones. A doc on the history of remote viewing was also removed, as was a FSTV documentary about the financial crash that was going to happen, before it happened! Dont have much to say about Alex Jones but something seems to be amiss with the DVRs?!

This happened to me. I DVR'd Police State episode and others, and they were remotely removed. I laughed joking to myself, that "they" must not want us to see these Conspiracy Theory episodes... then I saw that many other folks had the same problem! Now, I'm generally not a paranoid person, but this confirms my worst fears about information being controlled and censored.

@recyclopse Most commercial DVR's automatically remove programing after a certain period of time. Not just that show, but all shows. It's so cheap-asses are forced to buy the programing instead of just stealing it off of TV. Some spooky shadow government isn't stealing your episodes, just the DVR itself and the networks those shows came form. Nothing comes without a cost, especially not entertainment.

I have Directv. Just checked and I still have every episode I ever DVR'ed, 11 total to include POLICE STATE. At my work where I have them DVR'ed and play them constantly back before the last few episodes aired they disapeared. No way to know if it was another employee or DTV remotely, however I still have several episodes that are stored on the HD DVR that are there as of this evening still.

I would bet a good deal that this has nothing to do with remote deletion, and everything to do with shows being deleted by the DVR's software in order to make room for other recordings. I mean hell - most Americans can barely program a VCR, we're going to believe people who say their shows were deleted? From now on, when you report that a show has gone missing, also include how much free space is left on your DVR. Then I *might* consider believing you. Maybe.

So far mine haven't been deleted, and I have Verizon Fios. Make sure to select "Save until I delete" (if you have that option), as this should at least help and will make sure that it won't get automatically deleted by your DVR to make room for new shows if you record a lot of shows.
