 I think they followed radio a little too close for my taste, I mean if I wanted Pfunk i'd buy me some Pfunk same goes for EWF, ohio players, ect.... not a copy,not that close. DJs could see this.I think thats why the Bar Kays never trancended.

It is such a shame that soooo many people know nothing about this great song by the Mighty Bar-Kays. They were truly underrated. So may great tunes; incredible albums frm '74 through 84. I was all over every cut they had. THEY were as good as there ever was. Folks, the Bar-Kays WERE Soul, they WERE R&B, they WERE Funk.
