Jimmy - everyone loses when humans decide to take another life. Ironically it's all the worse when it is done in the cold and calculated way that is 'execution'. To hurt others, and most heinously to kill others is an absolute abomination. I don't believe in god, or hell or any of that silliness, but doesn't it say 'Thou shalt not kill' somewhere? Did it really mean 'thou shalt not kill unless you're the state?'

Killing takes something from humanity - every time it is done.
