The competition has been running 3 months and we have waited that long, so a few more days won't hurt. Brian did say in his last video, that it will take over a week to view all the videos etc, plus he has other things to do too, busy man (wish i was as busy hee hee), so let us all be patient, plus the build up and anticipation also adds to the finale. I'm not sure what people are complaining about. The rules stated that you could have as many entries as you wanted, so a few people made a whole heap of videos. That was kind of the point of the competition, to encourage as many entries as they could get. I put a lot of effort into my single video, but Im sure that doing 20 or more smaller vids would also require a heap of work. Kudos to them for bothering to make so many. :)

i had an event at boys and girls club of buena park ...so i went and bought some AMERICAN DJ MEGAPIXEL LED bars.....went to another store and bought the stands to upright them ...got the cables and MYDMX dmx controller...did a little programming on my lights laptop and uploaded it...and you guys havent showed me any love at all...its been up a week and has only 131 views..people..give me a little love and visit my vid. comment if you will. make my day and let me get 500 views. thanks. djmike

Ask the common person that you do business with. Not just at a club but take an average of all event styles. You will find that they don't know the difference between the so called bedroom DJ and say what you call a real DJ. Take all the bedroom DJs combined and they do more business than all the real DJs because the public doesn't require master DJ skills to be entertained. Even if your talking about the kids who do this at home. They must start somewhere.

I figured you'd make a contest that gave the advantage to people who actually support American DJ and actually spend a good amount of time making a video; rather than a contest that gives the advantage to kids with too much time on thier hands. Maybe last year there wasn't enough support for the contest so he just spread it out a little more to see what would happen to the quanity of video's. It is advertisement for American DJ but they are putting up the prizes.

I wondered why I got so many comments on my video in one day.

Whilst I also think the comp would be better at one entry each, I guess they just decided to change it up this year and try and get as many videos as they can. I know Ive used last years videos for reference for looking for lights to buy this year. Perhaps going in between and picking their top 7 fav and also picking 8 random entries may have been a better option than 2 and 13? Either way, good luck everyone :)

I also agree with Dale. I think the prizes should go to the people who clearly put a lot of effort into the videos, not someone who simply lists the specifications of the light from the ADJ website (100,000 hours, DMX, sound-active, mounting bracket, etc).

Just my opinion, remember the point of the competition is to explain why it is your favourite light, not to try and create them a new promotional advert for the light.
