It's very hard to determine who's the best cause it's almost all based on opinion but from my point of view Joe Satriani, steve vai, pettrucci etc is one of the most talented to every play guitar.

That's true, but from the guitarists I've heard satriani and vai are my absolute favourites for many reasons but mainly because they play "new" stuff. They're not playing the traditional stuff with the same rock n' roll chords and the same scales and such. That''s why I love them cause they're so creative and original.

Well I'm happened to be a guitarist and I know that there are a lot of technically better guitarists than Angus, but that stile and feeling that he has is wery-wery-wery rare. So he's definitely one of the bests.
angus does have thaat much feel at all ac/dc was a shit band and if you wanna hear some feel and soul being resonated from a guitar tender surrender and made of tears could out do almost anysong ever written (besides maybe gilmore but thats a next arguement)

@IbanezMasterGuitar - Music is my life - I've been a pro musician for 35 years - my fave guitarists are Hendrix, Kossoff, Iommi, Blackmore etc. These were in bands that were household names at the time - the people mentioned in this video are not household names.

It's very hard to determine who's the best cause it's almost all based on opinion but from my point of view Joe Satriani, steve vai, pettrucci etc is one of the most talented to every play guitar.
I'll be totally honest, I've never heard of those except for manny charlton and paul fox

I think most people who talk about Satriani, Vai haven't heard of the guitarists I mention (and I could mention may more) - if that's the case, how can they talk about the best guitarist ever if they've never heard these???
Also - it has to be said that the only guitarists from the glory days of rock that are ever mentioned in these lists are always the same ones - Page, Blackmore, Hackett etc. - Why?

That's true, but from the guitarists I've heard satriani and vai are my absolute favourites for many reasons but mainly because they play "new" stuff. They're not playing the traditional stuff with the same rock n' roll chords and the same scales and such. That''s why I love them cause they're so creative and original.

Well I'm happened to be a guitarist and I know that there are a lot of technically better guitarists than Angus, but that stile and feeling that he has is wery-wery-wery rare. So he's definitely one of the bests.
