I just received a tulip plant for valentine's day. I live in Florida and she is blooming beautifully. I have watched several of your video's and you say to let the green leaves die down to nothing and then place the bulb's in the freezer since we are in a warmer climate. Should I do this even if my plant is an indoor plant? she isn't planted outside but in a pot. Should I place compost into my plant if i am to replant her? (sorry i'm very new to gardening)
@Bcanty0319 I don't think she can respond since it's not her profile, so I'll help out! Tulips need a chill time like she said, so I would put them in a baggy with some soil in it, and I would stick it in the refrigerator when fall comes around and then after about two to three months, plant it in your container again! Hopefully that helped!
@DWJ202 I don't think she can respond since it's not her profile, so I'll help out! You don't have to worry about planting more. They are basically perennials, so they'll come back every year. Hope that helped!

Do the Tulip Bulbs Burn out after the first year? should I keep planting more bulbs to keep them looking good in my garden?
Please answer this post if you know the answer, I'm new to bulbs.
