  • I know her son

  • plenty of dads out there doing it to. Somehow a man wont make it on a show...sad

  • @hcoptertx I think the point is that she sacrificed her self, she could have died, to protect her sons. Not a lot of people do that,

  • @Lavaiszia I think most every parent would sacrifice for their kids.

  • @hcoptertx sorry, not quite what I meant. Not a lot of parents have to and have that much of a conciqence.

  • That lucky slut has a hot ass man!

  • She probably needs a light vac, thing in my fridge are probably better organized, she needs a fridge with a ice maker thing that cold water can come out of, but I guess it would be hard to adjust to something.

  • @wheelieblind probably with all the expenses from the wheelchair and stuff they couldn't afford it. also, extreme makeover home edition made her a new house- much eaisier for her to get around

  • you heartless fuck hope you and your mum end up in a wheelchair!

  • @missinn0c3nt You say heartless fuck because of that person comments yet your be willing to hope that his parents end up in a wheelchair? What's to say said person would'nt even care if such an event were to happen you would allow that to happen to innocent people. Mistreatment is one thing. Stupidity is another. Which are you fuck up?!

  • What a wnoderfgul woman. She helped her children live in sacrifice for her ability to walk. I look up to people like that.

  • I remember seeing this lady and her family on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. She really deserved the beautiful house she got!!!! :o)

  • Ihello i wold just like to say Keep your Head up God Bless you and your kids you are a strong woman and what you dont have on this earth you will have in heaven. i have been in a wheelchair for about 2 months now and at first i was depressed but now i accept it everyday life is full of suprises. dont give up!!!

  • No cries, No "poor me" just the correct adjustment, very inteliggent approach. If you can not defeat condition then learn how to deal WITH IT instead of AGAINST IT!

Good luck my friend, I use a wheelchair 24/7 due to Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, and MND (not ALS). In solidarity

  • How do you know when a cabbage is boiled??

A:\ The wheelchair floats to the top

  • realy its hero braavo thanks for add this video

  • harpo's ghoste; you suck... my dad is in a chair since the day i was concieved and he wasn't a hero... the body fails. showcase how she saved her sons, not the BS of tilting the vacume cleaner and not spilling the brita. way to miss the point, you comercial fed sow.

  • In my opinion, she is lucky. At least she is still able to breathe and roll around! There are people who are worse off then her!

  • @babieejae1101 Yeah, she's real lucky. That's easy for you to say. Why do people like you watch these clips and instead of commending her for what she did, you have to minimize it and say she's lucky? Why can't you just be happy for her and commend her? She has gone through a lot, and I doubt you have ever done anythiing like it.

  • @rebelnomo I am also living with a spinal cord injury. I do commend her for living her life, just like others who also have this injury. I also have been through a lot just like others with my injury. I was in massive accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down, 12 hr back surgery, rods that got infected, MRSA, Osteomyletis, numerous blood transfusions... shall I go on? Do you have a spinal cord injury?

  • @babieejae1101 Sorry, I obviously had no idea. I thought you may have been someone who was just being unsympathetic to this woman. But you weren't and I apologize. I hope you are doing well, and please accept my apology.

  • i feel you.. i know living life in a wheelchair is hard.. i'm 40 and i have cerebral palsy. i've living on my own since i was 26 and the daily task and chores can be bit overwhelming but i thrive to do them best to my ability. i'm glad that you doing keep order in your life and family spite of the wheelchair. :)

  • she lost me when she has to watch the sun rise

  • ya it's too bad that it takes something like that to make people pay attention to life ! i am in a wheelchair to for 2 yrs now and i also have two small sons ! it's all about acceptance ! if you don't have that you won't make it ! this lady has a long road ahead of her and from what i saw there i think she will be a survivor ! ya you bet she is very lucky ! to have a husband by her side and two wonderful children ! and ya she could even be dead ! so ya i would say she was lucky !

  • wow

  • People say that (the brave, inspiring, courageous) bit about my Dad (T4 complete). I ask them, "What choice does he have? Curl up and die? He tried that, but we talked him out of it."

I think they are trying to say that the admire Dad for being willing to try to face a really tough challenge while they (the undamaged folks) are getting defeated by much smaller challenges. That is just my guess. And what do I know . . . I'm able to walk.

  • I should say however that is was very courageous of this woman to shield her children with her own body. Now that's inspirational.

  • I am a wheelchair user since age 3, and I understand most people mean well when they try to say how great we are for simply trying to live our lives. I know this bothers other wheelchair users, but to tell you the truth, it has its benefits. DMV or amusement park long lines, the hell with it.....I get special treatment, you might as well enjoy it.

If anything, people should be more cautious of the disabled, some of us are real bastards.....not me of course I'm honest....?

  • I personally think that some people in wheelchairs are inspirations because some of us went from walking to being in a wheelchair. It's a large change and yes, we definitely do what we have to do and many people find that commendable because it is a life altering change.

  • im tired of people being inspired by others misfortunes you should be inspired by looking within yourself first and not looking at others pain and suffering its not inspiration its a fact of life

  • i think by 'lucky', she meant lucky to be alive. i've been in a wheelchair since i was 4 and i'm 14 now. i hate how many stares i get or how differently i'm treated.

but hey, if someone wants me to be their inspiration, i won't oppose! haha.

  • I agree. I am in a wheelchair ( a para) and I am considered lucky compared to higher level injuries. I am extremely independent, which I consider to be lucky. We are considered to be inspirations because a lot of people with SCIs go out and live their lives. They also persevere and don't give up. That's why a lot of people consider us to be inspirations.

  • Yeh, but we really don't have any choice other than to do so unless we want to become a recluse or something. What's so inspirational about doing what ya gotta do? Sometimes I think people say that but don't really mean it and just don't know what else to say.

  • im in a wheelchair myself and i wouldnt consider us *lucky* we're unlucky compared to most and luckier then some! i dont understand why we're such an inspiration to most people just because we sit

  • ...and brave and courageous. God that all gets old after awhile.

  • "Lucky"?

I don't think so ... lucky is not the right word.

Yes, she survived and still is with her family but lucky?

    No I don't agree.

  • Saw this the other day.

She's very lucky!! But good for her...she looks like she just doesnt give up!! Something to look up to!
