  • I really enjoy tears for fears, i love roland so nice and cute ;)

  • im never ceased to be amazed how little i know about popular music, 27 years on earth and this is the first time iv heard this. wow

  • @MrWhiterose1984 - It was on The Big Chair album and was not a single, so i don't know why they decided to do this on Wogan?

  • great song! Thanxs!

  • great song, miss track sound like this

  • roland looks good in a t shirt

  • @gamingg0d6493 Roland would look good with a french fry box on his head. He just looks Great! xoxoxo

  • THis things that I've been done can rearrange my world my doubt inside or inside out.....GREAT!!!

  • How time fly's.

  • This is play back for sure. Look the instruments aren't even plugged in, the song sounds exactly like it does on the album, and Manny isn't wearing his head set.

  • @CelesteK i agree. i don't know why they wouldn't have just performed it. they sound great doing this song live

  • @harlandorman45 That was the norm back then. Fake it on stage on a music video show and who cares how it looks. It seems like T4F weren't the only ones who hated to fake it on stage. DD hated it too. In fact bands back then were forced to fake it on stage but they didn't have much of a choice.

  • I'd forgotten how good this song was. I've unfairly neglected SFTBC since I was child - must dig it out.

  • It's such a shame they made TFF lip sync.

  • The sound of drum is amazing..!!!!

I mean .....the skill that drummer

    did was fantastic ~ !!

  • @jahwangful Yeah that is Manny Elias, his drumming on that album was REALLY awesome. He is underappreciated

  • @csrogc63 : Yes, Manny is one very good drummer and definitely under-rated.,just like Curt was under-rated as a bassist. Wish TFF's next gig will include the original lineup of the band...I miss these guys playing together...

  • @vior4ever That would be breathtaking. Roland, Curt, Ian, Manny, Nicky.. I get excited just thinking about the possibility!

Saw them at Orlando last summer, and it was technically great, but the original lineup is still my favorite.

  • 25 years ago SFTBC album came out. Grrreat!!

  • This is my absolute favourite TFF song, remember the performance so well, still got it somewhere on VHS. Blast it out as loud as it will go next time you listen to it

  • @ydiarb this is also my favorite tff song. i have lyrics from it tattooed on my stomach, with a sun/moon under it! i've seen tff Live twice! but have never had the honor of seeing them perform this song. and because it was never a actual hit, i probably never will :-(

  • this is one of my favorite song from SFTBC with Listen. And Roland look so cute and lovely <3<3<3<3

  • Hi codyjarrettsmother if I remember rightly this was on the Wogan show just before Christmas about 23rd December 1985 I remember it vividly as I just the Scenes from the big chair video for myself as a christmas present and then after watching the video this came on the Wogan show in the evening on BBC1. Thanks for posting this video up loved seeing it again.

    Dave

  • P>S Roland was so full of happy smiles then, it just leaves me so satisfied to think of him so pleased and happy! thats how much I feel!

  • @squeakyben Definitely that's the feeling I get too, it's very contagious, in a nice way, hehe.

  • thank you Jezzy,,,, I just watched the 1983 videos of Switch,, Boy you can see how much they grew in the two yrs. difference, more discipline, control, confidence and melodious!!!! Your beautiful Roland and Curt!

  • Whilst this is pretty much my favourite song of all time, it is a little disappointing that they are just miming to the album version...

  • But this was a TV programme and most of the bands had no other option but to mime.

Anyway, look out for live versions of 'The Working Hour' on Scenes from the Big Chair documentary, Live at Hammersmith '83 (In My Mind's Eye gig) and a rare gig in Buenos Aires in 1990 (it is right here on You Tube).

  • Mmm- To fulfill their contractual obligations. :D but you cannot deny that they can and do perform live brilliantly :D :D Rolllllllllllllandddd :D :D

  • Thanks so much for sharing this in great quality too! Don't ask me how I know but this is from 3rd January 1986. I've longed to see this performance.

  • thanks for sharing this great song!

  • Great video. Thanks so much!

I love Roland and Curt so much. :]

  • sigh.......I love Roland *heart melts*
