this version is good, but part of me likes the original better. the part where it goes "join us on this neverending journey" especially. i prefer the original. which is odd because i love barlow and think hes iced earth's "true" singer...but still both damn fine songs

Yep from 2004-2006 But Brent Smedley played drums for Days of Purgatory and this version of When the Night Falls, and Mike McGill played drums for the Original First Album and the first version of When The Night Falls :D \m/

Brent Smedley played drums only in the following songs: Colors, Winter Nights, Nightmares and Iced Earth which were entirely re-recorded in studio (and not remixed or remastered like the rest of the songs)

Someone should post a vid with the original intro, and Barlows version meshed together. I think that would be a definitive version, seeing as its the best of both, not saying Jon is bad as a Vocalist, I'm just not used to way he vocalizes on this track. Still a brilliant, with either singing it.
