  • she's look like audrey!

  • This is possibly my favorite Audrey Hepburn video out there. Thank you! <3

  • what font is that one you use at the beginning of the video? it's lovely! btw love your channel :)

  • How can you do this look every day without having to go through lots of pairs of fake lashes? Could you use that new Falsies mascara?

  • Summer looks alot like Audrey! great video!

  • great!!!

  • beautiful!

  • thanks for this, Audrey Hepburn was stunning! does anyone know what kind of make-up brands and what not they had back then? because it must not have been as good as it is now, and for her to look stunning like that is pretty amazing!

  • This is her classic movie, but I also loved her in Green Mansions.

  • we have the same wall painting :) i love her

  • i'm so glad this vid is up again!! i've missed it!!

  • Sooo cute!

  • Love this channel!

  • THIS IS AMAZING!

the best Audrey tutorial on YouTube!

    thanks so much!

    i <3333 audrey! shes FANTABULOUS!!

  • she kinda look like audrey hepburn too. good tutorial

  • thank you so much.

ive been browsing other videos looking for audreys specific look on B@T and they all looked so...costumey and way too much (i wanted classy Audrey not heavy-eye Edie Sedgwick)

This was subtle and perfect and I could use this during the day.

    Thanks again!

  • absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Thank you so much for the post

  • very cute, it really suits her. i like the very subtil blush.

i think i could pull that off, thx for the tips ! :)

  • the best movie and movie star of all time! Great look, darling ;)

  • you do look very much like audrey hepburn :)

  • what is the name of the glue did u use in her false eyelashes???

  • Lashgrip glue.

  • wow, summer is lucky lol

  • I adore the movie and I adore Audrey Hepburn and her makeup!

Thank you so much for this! I'm trying it out tonight :):)

    Your videos are ah-may-zing!!<3

  • Thank you so much!

  • wow this was really helpful. shes my favorite star of all-time

    thanksss!

  • Can't thank you enough! Do you know how to do the Twiggy-makeup? <3

  • i was hoping to go as audrey hepburn for prom

    thanxs so much

    now i just got practice

  • awesome! the model is really pretty- she even looks like Audrey, esp. her nose!

  • I think a fuller eyebrow is also key to this look.

  • false eyelashes are SO hard to apply, but you make it looks so easy.

  • It's so much easier to put them on someone else than on yourself. Try and get someone to put them on you. Or cut them in half and apply one half at a time. See aboywearingmakeup. He has a video on this!

  • Always wanted to know how to do this look, but ive got really crappy liquid eyeliner so ill have to get some before i could do this. Also, is there a video on how to do her hair like in breakfast at tiffany's? i wouldn't have it that 'up' but it looks really good with that makeup.

  • LOVEEEE this video! Thanks for making it! :)

  • Where can you buy the special glue for Fake Eyelashes????Can u buy it in Sephora??Or wjat glue,is it special??PLZ!Contact me!

  • We don't have Sephora in Australia. I assume you can get it in Sephora though. I bought mine from the Napoleon Perdis store here. At Mac, you can get Duo lash adhesive, which is the same kind of product.

  • Oh damn..I've been trying to figure out Audrey's make up for ages..And here it is! Wonderful!

    Amazing as always, Ms. Amy!

  • Oh my god how gorgeous does she look! Love it! xxx

  • ohh~!! shes soo pretty X3

  • that was wonderful.

thank you for this great video.

    i will definitely use this.

  • thank you so much<3

  • i love audrey so so much what a great look in Breakfast at Tiffany's =) she's so gorgeous!

  • I think this woman should have her own show.Shes great she explains everything so clearly, and she has a really nice personality. Perfect for television

  • My favorite too!

I was always trying to find a video for this, and now I found out that you have one [:

Summer looks almost like Audrey Hepburn - crazy! :D

  • Very well done! that was fantastic and you actually broke it down in ways that help other people learn it. They oughta have a show on TLC or something that teaches makeup like this, they have what not to wear, but nothing for makeup.

  • I used this makeup look today, and I'm actually quite happy with the results (since my kohl pencil is sometimes an excersize in frustration). Anything to help me look more like Audrey! ^_^

  • Thank you so much for this video. I am embarrassed to say-I am 41 and never knew how to apply false eyelashes until I saw this. Thanx again!

  • Wonderful!!!! Good job!!!!

    Kisses

  • Fantastic job !

  • Love it! Audrey Hepburn is my idol. <3

  • Amy, I lovvveee your channel, I subcribe to 58 and you're my 1 favorite. When I first saw the video title I started to scream! I have liked Audrey Hepburn and her style since I can remember.

  • Hhahaha.. .you're so cute! It's been fun reading your comments this morning!

  • i've always wondered how to do this audrey hepburn look! THANK YOU SOO MUCH! this is great

  • wow, your model is gorgeous.

  • WOW im stupid that i didn't see this video befor anywaz this is an awesome video!!!!!!

    ~kelsey~

  • Hahahha... no worries at all!

  • I love Audrey..thank you for this video!! your videos are all amazing help...

  • wow talk about her twin!

  • It looks like you are using some kind of pen "liquid liner" I havent seen any like that...what is a cheap brand?

  • Maybe someone else can help me answer this. I haven't found a pen like this other than this pen which is buy Shiseido and Dior.

  • I have found some in drug stores that are cheap but they hurt my lids to put it on and didn't work well at all. I would suggest shelling out the extra cash for a good quality one. I love Dior!

  • Another great video!! 8:05 Such a beautifull make up!

  • I have the same picture of Audrey that is in the background. It's on my bedroom wall!!

  • omgg me 2 i just ppuut it up today

  • ooo! thats so nicee! where did you get it?

  • lol i have that big pic at the beginning in my room ;D

  • OMG! You make it so simple! Thank you!

  • this really is one of my favorite looks that you've done. =]]

  • what kind of eyelashes were used

  • I use Manicare false eyelashes (drug store brand in Australia). I don't remember what particular number they were though.

You want to choose full and thick looking lashes, of medium length.

  • Can you use Benefit lemonAid as a concealor?

  • I wouldn't suggest it. It's a little waxy and doesn't glide easily. You need the concealer to apply smoothly, since this area is so tender.

  • I really love your videos!!!

    great!

  • That's fantastic! The model does very closely resemble Miss Audrey. What a natural beauty. I wish more women would feel comfortable in their own skin and realize that they DO look a hundred times better with no makeup on at all. Thanks for this.

  • I'm glad you used a model who has a resemblance to Miss Hepburn, that makes it more visible and comparable to the real makeup set in the movie

  • I want to try this now! Thank you!

  • i love your accent!!!! auz!!!! ;D cool amy i like the make up thingy you are doing.. and the good thing your using different brands of make up... amazing!!! love the moon river chacha !!!

  • I love all the make-up that you do. Just one question: is that you're own haircolour? I like it! :D

  • My hair? Yes, in this video it is my natural hair colour. I recently had some brown/chestnut streaks put in. I have to admit, I prefer my dark hair.

  • This was amazing thank you!

  • she really does look liek audrey hepburn a little bit! ahah. I think I wanna be holly golightly for halloween. or like dress up as her for my birthday hahaha.

  • I just wanted to tell you that I'm using this video as a tutorial for my wedding makeup in April! My wedding gown is just like her shimmery pink gown in the film (only ivory), so it'll be perfect! Thank you sooo much!

  • OH how cute!!!

  • haha i tried downloading moon river cha cha on limewire and they had nothing! it made me so mad lol i'll try again. i love that music :D

  • wow u r so good at this stuff! i have learnt how to do eyeliner and false eylashes becos u make it look v easy so thx alot!

    xx

  • Hi Amy, i tend to have bits of cracked skin on my nose and chin area: come even more evident with foundation. What might u suggest pls?

This is my fave vid ever!

  • Exfoliation! I know exactly what you mean. I have such combination skin, and I am prone to dry areas, usually on my chin. I use a gentle cleanser, Dove's creamy cleanser, and use a face towel to gently rub my face. Then as soon as I step out of the shower, I moisturise. This helps my skin appear very smooth, and makes makeup application easy.

Also try a primer before f/n. I like Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer.

  • Heya :)

    I actually adore your videos!

you are so talented, but I just have one question

what are your views on L'Oreal products and Bourjois products?

are they good, or am i better investing in makes like Clinique or MAC?

    xxxx

  • I invest in good foundation, mascara and eyeliner. Anything that is close to the eye (or potentially will get into the eye).

But I think if you are just wanting to buy eyeshadows, and blush to play around with, and gloss, it's fine to use lower end makeup brands.

  • This look is my favorite one :) i love it

  • just beautiful- i love your videos :-)

  • this video was great. can you please tell me the name of this version of "moon river"? who is the artist or what kind of version is it?

  • Moon River Cha Cha by Barney Kessel.

For all of my vids I list the music I've used in the description text to the right of the video. Just click on the "more info" button and you'll see it all listed there.... just incase there is anything else you were interested in.

  • what kind of eyelash glue are you using? most fake eyelashes dont come with glue.

  • I use Lashgrip glue.

  • 5 stars for the video!

  • hey amy, i love your videos and i really enjoy putting on make-up. for my birthday comming up i wanted to try fake eyelashes, but i wear glasses...do you think i can still wear them? i would get them from somewhere like mac.

  • Yep! Just don't choose ones that are too long! Go for fullness, rather than length.

  • how do you apply this look on asian faces? esp the eye make up???

  • Rather than do the brown on the brow bone, sweep it from the lashline up, and blend it out as it moves up the eye. It should be subtle, you don't want a strong smokey look, just a little hit of colour.

  • How would the colors change if you have skin that's a toasty Mexican-brown (mine)

Any products you might suggest in this case?

    ^_^;;

  • Summer's skin is darker than it appears in this video. Go for a warm brown eyeshadow, and a brighter, more candy pink blush.

  • hi amy, i have a question is bare escentual mineral make up good?and also for the brushes ??thanks..

  • I have never used mineral makeup before. It's only just starting to come out here in Australia, but it's not very popular. I was looking into getting the bare escentual samples. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

  • amy,i have a question for you..is maybelline dream matte mousse good?i have an uneven skin n i dont want to wear liquid foundation so i was thinking on wearing this mousse..can it cover my uneven skin and stuff?

  • Actually, try and get your hands on Stila's convertible colours. They are cream blushes that can be applied anywhere on the face, including lips. Love them!

The Maybelline mousse is very sheer. I would probably suggest the Stila over the Maybelline mousse.

  • It helps when I add loose powder (using a powder brush, after applying foundation of course) I have uneven skin tone also.

  • im totally trying this this weekend! thanks!

  • thank you soo much for this video ... great work! awesome! :) :) Shall try it out one day :)

  • Could you tell me how's the tip of the eyeliner?? I would like to buy an eyeliner with a pen-like tip, and not with a brush. That Shiseido eyeliner looks like it has a pen-like tip!! =) I have another question. Which is the brush you used for the lips??

I love this vid!! I'm envious of your friend, she gets to have her make up done very well!! XD

  • The eyeliner does have a sort of pen tip. It's really easy to use, but don't buy it, because they've changed the forumaltion, and you can't get normal black eyeliner anymore. I'm trying to find one like this.

And the brush for the lips is from Napoleon Perdis.

  • cutie

  • Amy, I love your videos! Have you always lived in Australia? Your accent is very light... sounds more toward a NZ accent.

  • Yep, always lived in Australia. I think what you're hearing is my Sydney or city accent. I don't have a strong, outback Aussie accent.

  • I love Audrey Hepburn :D She's one of my favorite actoress ^_^

I also love your make up tips :)

But I've got a problem with my eyelids :/

Becuase I don't really have any viseble eyelids and they're kinda greasy also, so I have quiet the big trouble when I put some eyeshadow on them.

So, do you know any great tip about my little "problem"?

    Grettings from Nina, Sweden :)

  • If your problem is the greasiness, a great thing is an eye primer. I use Mac's bare canvas paint. I also hear great things about Urban Decay's Primer Potion. If you apply a little off white coloured eyeshadow on the eyelid, then the primer, then your eyeshadow over the top. I swear it works!

  • I have to say you really are a genius! I really love all of your vids, and this one is also a fave of mine.

Your works are so hebat (that's the indonesian word for awesome).. haha

  • Thank you very much.

  • i have the same eye mask as audrey in the movie!

  • Oh cool!!!

I was actually planning on making one for this video, but didn't get time!

  • i love how you did this, but i have to say that "look" probably wouldn't look good on me, but you do this very well. i'm impressed.

  • It really does suit everyone. Even me! And I think I'm hard to do makeup on... or am I just fussy?!

  • No not fussy at all, i just think because i have huge eyes, and bushy eyebrows that it would look odd. or do you think differently? i would like to hear your thoughts.

  • wow love like she looks like!

  • I must try that someday :D I love the makeup^_^

  • thanks so much, i love this look and can't wait to try it!

  • I'm a huge fan of yours, and it's a crazy coincidence that I found this because I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's last night, and thought how wonderful it would be to find a how to makeup video on it...so I browsed through your videos and found this! It must be my lucky day! Thank you!

  • Hahhaha... isn't it a great movie. It's in my top 5 fave films ever. Love it.

  • yep its easy when someone else is doing it for you, but i found it damn hard to do for myself, got glue messed up, an eyelash stuck to an eyebrow, looked like a bloody tarantula climbing up my face, was a total disaster. sigh. made hubby laugh though....

  • Hahahha... oh no.... false eyelashes can be tricky to put on yourself. It takes me longer to put on myself than to put on others. Practice does make perfect, and patience too. I find using tweezers to hold them and place them on my eye helps too.

  • I absolutely love Audrey Hepburn, and what a wonderful job YOU did re-creating her look! You should be SO proud! Thanks for all of your videos, I use them to help me with my make-up most of the time! Thanks again and have a happy new year!

  • Hi Amy, Thanks for Post'ing these helpful tips. Audrey and Liz are my favorite faces too. Question I have is WHICH 'Shisedo Liquid Eyeliner' color?

  • Mine is black.... but apparently in teh states you can only get "Soft black" now which is a bother. I'm on the hunt for a pen that is just as good as this one.

  • great!

  • that's great !!!

thanks for the very clear explanation!

    love it!

  • love this video, thanks a lot

  • ooohhhh wow...u r very helpful...im not really allowed 2 wear makeup even though im 16....well ur videos are helpfulll...audrey is my idol..and i very much adore her..so when im allowed 2 wear makeup i will go on ur site and watch ur videos...u will be my makeup mentor:D (hope that doesnt sound scary)

  • Hahhaha... not scary at all!

  • Audrey Hepburn's make-up in Breakfast at Tiifany's is also a favorite make-up look for me! I'm a fan of colorful, eye-popping colors, but I'm more of a neutral look kind of girl. Your videos are amazing. Please keep them coming! :D Thanks again!

  • you are AMAZING!

I am constantly told that i look exactly like Audrey Hepburn. i never knew who she was intill now...when i searched it. i love her look and i am very similar to her so i think i will do the same makeup as her. i loved what you did but i would like to know what brush you useedd to smudge the eyeliner.

thank you for your time. i greatly appreaciate it.

  • Thank you very much!

The brush... It's a flat angled brush from Napoleon Perdis. I think it's the Sable 5a brush. Also similar to Mac's 266 brush.

  • wow! you are so talented!!!

  • I love this look! Since it is so natural looking, do you think there is a way to make it more noticable (for like a figure skating show so the audience cuold see it)???

  • Maybe try something like my Vintage pinup girl look for more eye definition and brighter blush. I use red lipstick in that video, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

  • Queestion :) Sorry I'm not english, I'm from Spain, so if it's something that is wrong, excuse me :S Do you know if in Spain there is the MAC line? I've never heard about it, but looking in a lot of videos I discovered that it's a very popular line...

  • It is a very very very popular brand! And often the preferred brand of alot of professional makeup artists. You can go to the website and see where you can buy the makeup from. Go to ww w dot maccosmetics dot com.

  • Your videos are fantastic. What brushes did you use to apply the eyeshadow? In particular the taupe shade? They look like MAC brushes which I have but I can't see which ones.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks.

  • My brushes are by Napoleon Perdis. Except I do have a few Mac ones that I use. The first one I use is Mac, and the taupe eyeshadow one is Napoleon.

  • where do you get your make-up at? do you order them from the internet or go to departments stores?

  • I usually buy them from department stores or from pro stores. And sometimes order stuff online. But I am an instant gratification person, so I want to buy it and take it home!

  • Aaaahhhhh...summer is so pretty!!! love this look!

  • amazingggg

so can u tell us a little bit more about the eyelashes?

whats the best place can one get them, and how much do they usually cost? what kind of eye lashes should we get?

    im so inspired by this!

  • You can get false eyelashes everywhere. I normally buy drugstore brands. In Australia we have manicare. Or if I am wanting to spend a bit mroe money, and have a more interesting lash, I buy mine from Mac or Inuovi. The drugstore ones usually cost about $8, and mac costs me about $25. I'm goign to do a video soon where I talk about choosing false eyelashes, since I've been getting a lot of questions about it recently.

  • Is anyone else having a problem watching this? It stops at 30 sec. I have been looking for this for a long time. If there is anything to do to watch this I would be so happy!!

  • It works fine for me. Some days I have issues with youtube. Like it says there are problems with my flash player, but I can view any other flash website no problem. Try again maybe in a couple of hours.

  • thank you so much! it was amazing how fast you got back to me!

  • Hey You were awesome....and By the way by the end of it she did look like audrey Hepburn herself!!! Greta job and I love you ...thanx gurl!!!

  • I think Summer looks like a cross between Audrey Hepburn and a young Sofia Loren

  • She really does! And she's terribly lucky, because both Audrey and Sofia are stunning!

  • awsome! I love the look it's great!

  • this is adorable! and so well explained. great job! and thank you!

  • I did it and it looked great thank you so much dear

  • i loved watching this thankyou!

  • Nice job. Looks lovely.

  • thanks sooooo much for listing the products that were used in the video, i just got a set of manicare false eyelashes myself but found the adhesive glue not so great, she obviously got another type of glue that we can apply directly on the eyelid if anyone has got any other tips about how to apply the false lashes or where i might be able find this other type of adhesive glue it'd be great! Thanks :)

  • You're right. I buy separate glue. Either Lashgrip or Duo lash adhesive. I get Lashgrip for the Napoleon Perdis store, and I know you can get Duo lash adhesive from Mac. I don't like the glue that comes with the cheaper lashes. I forgot to mention that.

  • i have natural long eyelashes. I don't need fake ones! haha

  • just beautiful, this one and the old hollywood are my favs.

    THANKS

    =)

  • You are a genius!! I am going to try this for the next party I am going to!!

  • i have the same painting of audrey in breakfast at tiffanys in my room thats behind her. i got it at ikea. if anyone else wants to get it. its really big and awesome. she has the classic smoking stick thingy with it and its like gray and black and awesome. i love it and its cheap. good job at the makeup btw.

  • wow you actually managed to make her look a lot like audrey! I went out today and bought a few of the products from this, I liked it so much. thanks!

  • i totally admire audrey hepburns look inside breakfast at tiffanys. its such a natural but very soft and striking look when it comes to the eyes.

  • Awesome! I'll have to try it

  • WOW! i have watched just about all of your videos and i love them all! you explain the looks perfectly - so its easy for someone like me to remember the next morning!

  • I viewed this video and your 1920's flapper one as well and subscribed because I am smitten with your knowledge of the true power of makeup!!! You don't pile it on, you make it an art form, your looks are classic and flawless: THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You are an INSPIRATION =D =D =D!!!!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!

    I

    LOVE

    THIS!!!

Audrey Hepburn is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE ACTRESS due to her PURE PERFECTION as a human being, effortless style, and GOODNESS, may she rest in blissful peace in heaven =D =D =D!!!!!!!!

  • Oh sorry I didn't notice! I must say, I tried on this makeup on a 60's party I went to, and it was a great sucess! It totaly saved my month! Thanks! Keep up the good work! ;)

  • Thanks so much again...I told a friend at work who helped me with applying my false lashes the other day about this video (she used to wear false lashes regularly), and she had already seen it!! We both love it! I'm thinking with the holiday parties coming up it's good to get used to putting the lashes on now.

  • I love this video! You did a perfect job. I love the blush, what kind is it? What would you suggest for foundation because I have freckles really bad, but I love the little boggers. lol. I don't want to cover them up, but I love the smooth as silk look of foundation. Good job, can't wait to see more.

    Kim

  • Check out the info on the right, click on the "more info" button for the products. The Mac Studio Fix foundation is great to give an even finish, but not so thick in coverage that it covers the freckles. I love freckles too!
