My confidence-fragile Habs (even with Saku Koivu-referees saw no evil, heard no evil) were the team the struggling Canes HAD to face and WANTED to face in the first round that year. I don't think they would have comeback against any other team even Tampa Bay. They finished the season poorly and Gerber could not stop a beach ball. Cam Ward was really solid but he did not stole the series by himself. Canes players said after game 6 that they had great respect for the Habs but it was all cliché.

I love how you didn't show the williams high stick. And you didnt show any of montreals goals after bulis' goal in game 2.
Montreal was up 2-0 in the series and 1-0 in game 3 when koivu was high sticked, so they got fuking ripped. Fuking hurricanes.
