  • SeaWorld has begun breeding mothers WITH THEIR OWN SONS lately !! Honest truth !! Spread the word !! Genetic diversity is so low they are actually doing that now ! To the moms and dads - try explaining that one to the kids on their next visit !

  • exact same fins as keiko bent due to the brutality of captivity

  • he reminds me so much of Keiko

  • atleast let tilikum's baby be in the tank too...

  • Dude I could not stop laughing when I saw him swimming around upside down. xD

  • We transformed him to the isolated pool

  • and tilis a bad influence on his child...bad whale..bad!

  • what happened to tili after he killed the trainer..i was there..it was so sad...made my nephew cry

  • Tilikum may have aggression problems possibly because he's a transient Orca, one who travels all over the world's oceans, and thus has to hunt many different types of prey. Resident Orcas, like the ones that hang around coves in Alaska, are much more docile and sutible as marine attractions. Resident Orcas literally spend most of their lives in the same place, so they have less problems in tanks.

  • @Thoralmir

i agree with you . even prisoners have aggression problems being confined in closed spaces. why shouldnt it be any different with animals? many whale species migrate hundreds, maybe thousands of miles each year ..their instinct tell them to for mating or finidng food. Can you imagine when such animals cant do what their natural instincts tell them to? no wonder they kill. dont blame them!

  • ok hang on tili is NOT katina's son. They are both from iceland. both captured orcas now im realizing why people hate sw they totally lying! Katina and Tili have nothing in common but being partners and have calves otherwise they are in no way related! total bs.

  • If it were up to me, there would be no animals in captivity. Besides the animals that couldn't go back to their original habitats for whatever reason.

  • ok ppl,his fin is not drooped over because he is depressed,it is drooped because it lacks muscle there that would form in the wild when the swim long distances.

  • I hope all you activists know that this is the whale that killed dawn branchau. Freeing him would only confuse him more.

  • @Philandshaned125 There wouldn't be a problem if he had been free in the first place. Think about it. We catch whales, take them away from their family, and stuff them into a tank. Would you like to be stuck in your bedroom for the rest of your life? Only to go into a different room to do tricks for another species? No? And your mad at the whale. And if he would be confused, they should've been working on a rehabilitation program, instead of training these gorgeous whales to do stupid tricks...

  • @12321jessica Think about this. 9 out of 10 of those whale were born in captivity. Say we set them free. They'd likely find a fish and not know how to hunt it. Now, if they put live fish in the habitats for the whales, this would be another story. But they dont. I'm not mad at the whale. Tilikum was confused because he thought her ponytail was a fish. He doesnt know how to hunt fish on his own anymore, so he simply mistook the ponytail for a fish. They are not stuffed into a tank. I do believe..

  • @12321jessica ...That it is illegal now to "catch" whales from the wild and place them into captivity. The whales that are born at seaworld do not know how to survive in the wild, or even what the wild is. The tricks that the whales do is 99% their natural behaviors. It would be one thing if SeaWorld advertised the harming of these animals, like "Check out the Whale do a flip 40 times". But they dont. Yes they make a profit, but the majority of the money is spent on keeping the whales in good..

  • @12321jessica ...condition. The orcas are not being whipped or maltreated when they dont perform. The are not forced to do anything.

  • @Philandshaned125 I never said they were whipped. They ARE forced to live in tanks and I just don't think it's right to take something out of where it belongs (the ocean) and put in a confined area. I'm just saying they could be doing better things then just training them to do tricks. The same people that are training them could be finding out how to rehabilitate them into the wild, or how to teach them to catch fish and get food. To me it seems like they aren't doing either of those things.

  • @Philandshaned125 If they did rehabilitate them or find out how to teach them to fish and get food that woman might not be dead right now. He might not have confused her ponytail for a fish, he would know. Listen, all I'm saying is they could be doing better things with the profit they make, and if you want to call me an activist for caring about species other than humans go ahead, no one's stopping you. There's only been a few attacks on people from whales in the wild and none of them were...

  • @Philandshaned125 ... fatal, only around two dozen since the 1970s. Now all this happened at SeaWorld, to me that seems a little odd don't you think? No fatal attacks until there is one in captivity. They obviously didn't have a taste for us before, the whole problem might have been avoided by just keeping fish in their tanks, I'm no expert but if they would've put a little money into it Dawn Branchau might still be living. That's all I'm saying.

  • @Philandshaned125 ... for our own entertainment. I wouldn't complain if they were training the whales that couldn't go back to the sea and helping the ones that could, but they aren't doing that. If you want to throw a hissy fit because someone died go ahead, you'll be throwing a fit your whole life because people die every day in case you didn't know.

  • @Philandshaned125 SO?! that's prove that he's under stress and should be at least given a sea-pen, in a natural sea area. and they're really intellegent animals; it would not confuse him...why would it?

  • @SFwhitegirl. The only reason you say that is because you know what it's like to be free. A lot of the whales don't know how to hunt or get food. They need to be there. And it's not like they whip them or hurt them. They study them, feed them, give them exercise and social bonding. They use the shows not only for entertainment purpose but also for education of not only the people but the whales too. They perform natural behaviors that the killer whales do, it's just happens to be entertaining.

  • @Philandshaned125 they do NOT need to be there. there don't need to be shows even if they can't be taught how to hunt. There's something called a sea-pen and it could be make private. If sea world want to study them, there won't be dolphin shows. clearly they just want profits.

  • Such beautiful creates should be set free

  • at least theyre not cramming him in a little aquarium. the belugas at least have a lot of space to move around...

  • Such beautiful creatures.

  • THIS IS MESSED UP!!! THESE KILLER WHALES BELONG IN THE OCEAN NOT IN CAPTIVITY!!! THIS IS WRONG! FREE THEM! THIS IS SO FREAKEN SAD!!! I CANT EVEN AMAGINE HOW THEY FEEL EVERYDAY! THIS IS WRONG!!!!!!

  • @SFwhitegirl yes let them free so there'll be the same story when keiko was released (: ?

  • @LittleMonsterlicious what do you mean?

  • @SFwhitegirl Keiko was released because there were many activists who wants him free and the activists won so keiko was released but a week later he died because he couldn't hunt and he was accustomed to human contact.

  • @LittleMonsterlicious Not to be rude or anything but you're totally wrong .... Keiko was brought to Iceland in 1998 so he lived for 5 years in the wild before he died of Pneumonia wich is common for both captive and wild orcas :) Maybe you should read more about keiko?

  • Seaworld is educational and teaches people about how important it is to help our enviorment and to promote conservation and they help save endangered sea life it's so beautiful to see tillikum swim on this video

  • I'd never ever visit one of these places. If my kids wanna see whales, we can go see them in the wild, in Norway or Alaska etc. Probably cost less, too.

  • @songforasiren I've been in Norway in Tysfjord and it was AMAZING to see them wild in their natural habitat while they were hunting herring ! Worth all the money i promise you!

  • @candygal989 yeah, so?

  • I like all Sea World type movies.

  • I'm sad that their kept in captivity! ITS WRONG

  • @meghan1872 i wish Tilikum was free!!!!

  • @angelrose582 yeah i feel bad for him

  • @SuperQs22 im sending a pettion t seaworld and a 5 page letter!

  • @angelrose582 Really? So you want him to die? You WANT him to go out and not know how to fish or get food? I thought you felt bad for him. You free him, you condemn him to death.

  • @Philandshaned125 look tilikum was free until he was 2. That is a long time for us. He knows how to fish and get food. And simply if you didn't like my comment just ignore it. I don't need the attitude.

  • @Philandshaned125 Oh and if you really think he was born into captivity, consult the description of the video.

  • when was this filmed? I got news that the underwater viewing is closed. Please reply.

  • @ShamuGuy42 This was filmed November 4, 2010.

  • @ShamuGuy42 it is because of construction. i went for my honeymoon in may and was extremely upset by this... traveling from ohio to florida isnt cheap and this is the MAIN reason we wanted to go to orlando. :( very sad. it will re open mid summer
