  • isa the tune of this song was taken from the Fijian song Bula Maleya, which was written during world war II, when they fought in the Malay peninsula.

  • The Polynesian Cultural Center is an amazing place to visit. I have been there three times and knowing THE KING has been there makes it even more special. The evening show is really spectacular with all the native dancers - a must if you are visiting Oahu. Nothing like it.

  • The "Kapakahi coconut tree" where he floats under @ 1:29 just as he goes under the bridge is still there at the PCC. still crooked as ever. notice how the coconut tree twists and turns?? that tree is famous!!!
