you'll like this more... it has a lot of the old school stuff that it began with... if you played the old one and the tenchu four... you'll know waht im talkin about... tenchu 4 is an ok game but the feel is tooo different

i got the japanese version also and I have no idea what the story is about or how to navigate the menus but the gameplay is obvious enough, good game though, and does anyone know how to unlock all the secret characters

How do you do a sealth kill? Whenever I go near hiim and press square Rikimaru just slashes and kills him insead of he a proper stealth kill. And damn I got Jp version, can't undersand anything at all.

Dont worry that much about piracy, off course I have no good feelings about it, but since it is not like in the NDS the industry will be fine. PSX had a lot and was the best system ever made, off course the costs were cheaper to make a game, but overral the psp is doing fine.

There' a circle thing beside the Ki meter. It flashes during a stealth kill and you have to time it right and press SQUARE. X-rays only work on Rin and Tesshu. Check out my vid ^^

You can peep through sliding doors by approaching the door while crouching, it will open just a bit and the enemy will not see you. Try it ^^

I just bought it.. well... imported it.

You can get it in English if you can find a copy of the European version.

The only real problems with this are a mildly unreliable camera and low draw distance... both very small issues if you're using the ki meter like you're supposed to be.

IMO, the pros far outweigh those cons.

I have european vesion which is english... so technique here is you download a game from a shop then transfer it to my computer at home... so even i cost money for this i will earn some too.... by the way its only 25 pesos.. in the philippines

how can you change the camera to normal? my camera is inverted and it's hard to play that way (coz I'm playing shinobido which has a normal camera setting). also... why is that the opening on my tenchu is not sang in japanese? no voices at all. pls help :(

i'm really a fan of this game! first of all the poor draw distance is a good challenge, forcing you to move like a professional assassin ^^ umm nice vid but try stealth killing ALL the enemies in the map (except innocent) before finishing the mission... it's more fun and challenging =

Yeah, I was in denial for a while, thinking one of those release dates would be the lucky one and I'd just be able to pick it up from a GS...

After 6 or so BS release dates, I just decided to go ahead and get the European version, it's in full English anyway... haven't regretted it since!

It was well worth the cash.

the only thing i hate is that there is no kanji meter and it seems to be very easy.

It seems easy because I know this level like the back of my hand, sped through it without hitting any of the chaotic areas... and have it set on the Medium difficulty.

Playing it on harder difficulties on levels I'm unfamiliar with is when the stuff gets crazy.

But yeah... no kanji meter, you just start with all the moves instead of having to learn them. Luckily there's lots of items to acquire through replaying missions.
