  • I love banana and blueberry smoothies!! And drinking your raw calories instead of chewing them is so helpful for low fat raw vegan newbies!

Add 3 bananas, two cups of blueberries, natural peach dessert tofu, almond milk and a dash of cinnamon makes for a splendid breakfast smoothie! :)

  • @stephaniemaeplott Haha, that is awesome! What a great idea, thanks! :)

  • One of my favorites is 'stuffed salad'.. I dont like eating salad w a fork so I take the romaine head, wash it, and stuff it w spicy hummus/shredded carrots/avocado or whatever you like, roll it up tight.. And just eat the whole head of lettuce still connected to the base! Its very hilarious and fun and ppl always comment on how interesting it is to see someone just eating a whole head of lettuce like a bunny or something :)

  • I don't know how but I used to watch you way back when. When raw diets first started interesting me. And somehow I got unsubscribed. But I got subscribed to the RawBrahs and then I remembered you today and was like omg! I have to find her. And I did :)

  • I have heard of raw food eaTing before I never attempted it cause it seems unrealistic to me. it just seem really hard to incorprate this lifestyle into my daily work schedule but at the same time I am intrigued with raw food eating. Being just diagnosed with pcos I am willing to try anything.

  • 5 cups (3/4-inch) seeded watermelon cubes

1 1/2 pounds ripe tomatoes, cut into 3/4-inch cubes

    1/2 teaspoon salt

1 small red onion, quartered and thinly sliced $

1/2 cup red wine vinegar *(I use balsamic)

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

    Romaine lettuce leaves (optional)

    Cracked black pepper to taste

(sometimes I cut up 1/4 jalapeno into small pieces and add to)

just toss it all together...I like to leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours to let the ingredients blend...

  • Liberry? C'mon.

  • I love to just mix bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raisins and cinnamon. :) Banana and date smoothie is also great, and you'll definitely get your calories that way.

  • As a photographer living in the third world of Asia I find great enjoyment in going to the market and taking photographs of new raw foods. You can then share the photos via social media.

  • Great Video I really enjoy it! Hope you enjoy ours…

  • I'm not a raw food purist. I love eating fruits and veggies, but I do splurge and split a pizza with friends now and then.

  • fresh fruit & vegetables are never boring! savor the flavor!

  • I did you 10 day juice fast ..Thank you for being so BE-U-ti-FULL:)

  • I watch you here on YouTube! My favourite "recipe" is my super simple banana ice cream. Just freeze a couple of bananas and throw it in the mixer with either just cocoa for simple chocolate ice cream or different fresh fruits/berries and spices. I've never had one single person not raising their eyebrows over it! It's so good and free from the hellish dairy. haha.

  • I ate a papaya for the first time yesterday!!! YUM!!! It was soooo goood.

  • Celery, orange, beet, mango, and kale make a really good juice

  • whats your favorite fruit? :)

  • I'm in loooove with raw nori rolls and raw chocolate mousse!! :D sometimes I put raw "tuna" salad in my nori rolls. Just process soaked walnuts with some lemon juice in your food processor then add some celery, carrots, onion, soy sauce and pepper to it and process again. and there you have a delicious raw tuna salad!! :D

  • @bzzzbzzz89 where does someone get raw nori rolls, or is there a way to make them?

  • @Rawfoodsubber You can make them on your own, it's very quick. Just slice up some veggies and roll them up like sushi :) you can use whatever you want and have fun with it! :) i usually use carrots, celery, some lettuce, ginger, bell peppers, zuccini, tomatoes,... you can find recipes here on youtube too ;)

    end.

    :D

  • Rice burrito.

  • (youtube) This is my first week recently on the raw diet. I've fallen in love with making spring rolls. The ingredients I've settled into are: wheat-free spring roll wrapper (rice paper), romaine lettuce, been sprouts, [cut into rod shapes: tomato, cucumber, green onion, avocado]. Also some Himalayan rock salt, and just today I added some raw (fresh) salmon and tuna. Obviously not a raw VEGAN recipe, but you can leave out the fish. Dipped in Tamari (organic wheat-free soy sauce).

  • @jujumistress I want to make these, with peanut sauce. I buy them all the time. Sometimes they include a little mint. You've inspired me!

  • Do you eat sushi?? If you what kind n where do you buy it? :)

  • My favorite raw dessert recipe is: Raw Chocolate Moose. You need a food processor. It's 2 HASS avocados, 2-4 tablespoons of raw honey; 2-4 tablespoons of coconut oil and a little bit of water in order to get that moose consistency....then, you add the raw chocolate powder and blend for one minute. Voila! It's delectable.

I also like raw chocolate milk. you'll need the Breville or a similar juicer. It's two heads of Romaine lettuce and five carrots. This taste JUST like creamy, chocolate milk.

  • @marthanyc "I also like raw chocolate milk. you'll need the Breville or a similar juicer. It's two heads of Romaine lettuce and five carrots. This taste JUST like creamy, chocolate milk"

Really? Cool :D I'm gonna try this :D*

  • @BadDedexD :-] BadBed, you may want to add five carrots for each head of romaine that you use, actually. Later, then you can add or subtract the carrots to taste. It's my fav drink besides Dan the Man's Lemon Ginger Blast (2nd place). I'll have it, tomorrow morning, and it's so filling. I think you'll be pleased.

  • I am never bored when I am eating well, I did a 65 day juice fast check out my videos!

Good and makes me feel good/energy! Hope this helps someone.
  • I bought a 5 lb tub of shelled hemp seeds and have been adding them to almost everything I cook (mostly soups, stews, beans, vegetables, etc), they sort of take the place of white rice, but add way more nutrients!

  • @DontTread0nMe1776

you should soak and sprout the hemp seeds :D

  • @WatWudBeACoolUsrname I bet they wouldn't sprout (they have been shelled), but sprouts are very healthy to eat. Also these hemp seeds have no THC if that's where you were going with it :)

  • I am watching this on you tube. I dont have a recipe yet.

  • I don't know, though. I used to be religious with the famer's markets and then I got a bit wary because the produce markets in my area in the summer often have local food anyway so what's the difference? Those farmers may drop a delivery to the produce market, set up their market in an affluent suburb, and jack up the price 25%, LOL! Oh well, I will give it another chance tomorrow...

  • Zucchini with tomatoes drbenkim.com/healthy-pasta-recipe.htm

  • Slice up room temperature banana and put in bowl, add tablespoon of coconut oil in its liquid form, mix so bananas are coated, top with a few tablespoons of almond butter, then top that with cacao nibs......then enjoy this delicious desert!

  • @randydandy1974 health wise: never ever eat fruits for desserts. eat that as main meal, or don't eat that at all.

  • u rule

  • Go to a library and check out a raw food recipe book! Or go to google and just type in any food but with the words "raw food" in the front of it. Like "raw food pancakes" or "raw food burrito". You'll find some pretty cool recipe's and people get really creative with the raw food diet. It's insane!

  • i dont have a fav yet just getting started bee polen

  • out of curiosity, is the raw food diet a weight loss?

  • @lolaxian you could, you could also gain weight if you want. Check out liferegenerator, he has a lot of vids on that.

  • @lolaxian Not necessarily. But when I ate raw foods for about a week I lost weight. If you eat processed and cooked foods, it's likely that you'll lose weight eating only raw foods.

  • ME LIKE this topic! ^^ I've been having people over every tuesdays for dinner, and I think it's the secret to making any diet fun! (planning, prepping, and sharing with those you love) And when there are left-overs, people usually ask to take some home and i get to have a wonderful lunch the next day too =) Not only do I really have fun, but people are more appreciative of the foods itself b/c it's homemade (vs. cheap restaurant food) and often ask for the recipe with a Please~ hehe

  • How did you make almond milk with a juicer? I blender I understand H20+almonds...

  • @waifungilism2004 You just put the almonds in with some water and the pulp comes out the other side. John Kohler has a video demonstrating how you do it. His channel is "rawfoods". I tried to link the video, but it won't let me. =/ That's how I learned.

  • keep it simple with Greek Salad. First chop tomato, cucumber and red onion and bell pepper it you like it. for a sauce your going to mash up 1 avocado with 2 tbsp of lemon juice and water, chopped oregano and 1 tsp of salt. Mix in a bowl and enjoy.

p.s. if you enjoy olives as much as i do toss them in as well

  • I made an amazing fruit sorbet with frozen bananas and local raspberries and fresh almond milk. I used my juicer to make the almond milk (omega vrt HD) and then I blended it with the frozen fruit until it was thick! Soooo good.

  • @rawnutritiontips Skip the almond milk! It's just as good with just bananas and berries (tried it), and technically, if you add fat, it's no longer a 'sorbet' - it's ice cream.

  • @airheadLana yes, you can skip the almond milk if you like. It's not mandatory but once in a while, I like to add it because it gives flavouring and also makes it really creamy, similar to real ice cream. Bananas on their own are fantastic blended with water until super thick. Other people have used juicers to make banana "ice-cream". Experiment with smoothies... it's so much fun!
