Big trekie fan back in the day but I really thought this film was crap. The classic big bad ship scenario. A big clumsy fragile looking ship run by a species that hate bright lights, you dont need phasers here just a big flash lamp, game over LOL. New Romulan ships also gay, for me it has to be the big D'deridex class or a similar newer creation, not these small weakish by comparison to starfleet ships. It was always better having the Romulans at two Galaxy class to beat one warbird power ratio.

...I think THIS should be called the "Picard Manuver", it's not though... the "Picard Manuver" is some thoroughly complicated "use-the-mesons-from-the-damag­ed-warp-coils-to-slingshot-aro­und-the-gravity-well-of-the-en­emy-ship" type thing, however this one is much simpler and more directly effective. And it takes balls. Very much the kind of thing Admiral Nelson would have done.  :)

Fly directly towards an attacking vessel at warp speed, dropping out of warp directly off their bow, thereby appearing to be in two places at once.
