  • When he said "He's fast. I gotta be faster!" I heard "Jesus Christ, I gotta be faster!"

  • 0:17 Are you tired of having to check the map? Worry no more, there's an app for that!

  • xDDDDD but pong is still the best :P

  • 0:17 Ipad ?

  • Will he ever make it out of there? :DDD

  • 0:30 YES YOU ARE, and i dont believe thay are going to make a sequel just because you cry aboot it.

  • The thing they don't show you is the guy getting pinned by monsters then say: "F*** I'M TRAPPED!!!!!"

  • these games are really tedious, with no reward at the end.

  • @MrHappyRandom Sort of like most games ever made, really?

  • @xgncmx I mean, there is no variation whatsoever in different levels. Totally boring.

  • I had this game! It was creepy. The music the monsters made was eerie.

  • Thumbs up if this guy reminds you of Andy Samberg.

  • Comment removed

  • @psychonaut25 hey I'm gay so shut the fuck up.

  • @psychonaut25 I sense some immaturity and teenagerness in your comment and some stonerness in your username.

  • @lyon1535

    psychonauts is a game.

    your argument is invalid.

  • @FluffyToastJ psychonauts wins! my friend is one of the developers

  • @FluffyToastJ Psychonaut is also a word for someone who uses drugs because they find drugs to enhance their lives.

  • @lyon1535

    Cool story bro.

  • @lyon1535 i don't smoke pot. i have removed comment that was soo wrong. happy now?

  • I loved this game. First off, there were no guns so when you spotted a Zot, there was pretty much one option - shit yourself out of fear and try to run the opposite direction.

The game itself was amazingly creepy, after a certain level the Zots got amazingly quick, you got quicker too but that just meant you could collide with them faster. After a certain level up the game just started generating random mazes and weird characters sometimes appeared on the doors and in the mazes.

  • At least he isn't trapped in 3D Monster Maze.

  • That guy had an IPad!

  • I started acting this commercial out during school once. I was sent to the guidance people. :P

  • Wow! It's like you're REALLY IN THE MAZE! Awesome!

Now, what would happen if we threw some guns in the mix?

  • I KNEW IT THEY DID HAVE iPADS BACK THEN!!!

  • Will that guy ever escape?

  • When was this game fun?

  • its uber realistic

  • AMAZING GRAPHICS!

  • I bought this game brand new for 10 bucks at a department store called Maloneys which had previously been called S-mart.....kinda like K-mart. Anyways, this was the best Atari game ever. Farthest I ever got was run 42.

  • IVE GOT IT! Fully boxed with RAM plus!

  • man i want that game

  • Screw modern warfare 2, I'm getting me Tunnel Runner.

  • aww yeah

  • lol xD im a cod fan

  • Holy sh... 1983!!!

  • What is "RAM Plus"?

  • Probably additional RAM in the cartridge. Keep in mind this game came out 9 years before my time.

  • beautiful cheese. i miss the 80s and early 90s

  • I don't have the box but I still have this game. Unfortunately, I somehow lost the manual to it. This is very unusual for me, as all my Atari manuals were kept together.

In any case, Tunnel Runner was always one of my favorites. After seeing the great 3D effect, I bought Crypts of Chaos from Fox. The 3D effect was so bad you could never tell where the corners or intersections were!

Only thing that would have made TR better would have been a different image for the back of the creatures.

  • im not trapped, im not trapped

    *freaky smile*

  • FUCK YEAH! RUNNEL TUNNER!

  • OMG TUNNEL RUNNER WITH RAM+

    256 MORE BYTES OF EXCITEMENT!!!

will my specs be able to run this at full res?

CPU Intel Core2Quad Q9450 OC @ 3.2 GHz (cooled by an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro)

    GPU 2 x HD4870 CF'd OC @ 750 MHz

Mobo DFI Lan Party DK X48-T2R

    RAM OCZ 8GB PC6400 OC @ 940MHz

    HDD 2 x Hitachi Deskstar 7,500 RPM 320GB (16MB Cache) in RAID 0

    PSU PC P&C Silencer 750w

    Monitor OcUK 24" Widescreen LCD

  • Fuck no, this is TUNNEL RUNNER.

    BITCH. TUNNEL RUNNER.

SAY THAT NAME A FEW TIMES.

I JUST BLEW A LOAD IN MY PANTS.

    FOR TUNNEL RUNNER.

  • Doubt it.

  • no its ram+

with 253763948569372856328465328745gb of excitment! so yeah buddy your little tiny 320 gb hard drive cant run it

  • That depends on whether the Windows port was written by Microsoft or not. If it was, there probably won't be any machines capable of running it at full speed for at least another 5 years. :)

  • You will need to over clock your processor to 133Mhz to comply with RAM+ Specs, The L2 Cache is just way too quick for you.

  • Any guess where they found the actor?

"They think I'm trapped, but I'LL ESCAPE!"

"(gasp) Monster! he's smart, I gotta outsmart him"

  • "he's fast i gotta be faster"

  • "I'm not trapped."

  • its creepy how hes always smiling.

  • lol

  • anyone else notice that the ghosts music sounds exactly like riders on the storm

  • Is this, in fact, the greatest person in a video game advertisement ever? I did not think anything could beat the Garfunkel clone in that Zelda commercial.

  • they think i'm trapped...but i'll escape!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • better than cod 4 and gta iv!

  • lol

  • The weirdest thing about this game is how smoothly it runs. I remember playing NES first-person games that weren't half as smooth as Tunnel Runner.

  • I just love these good old games...

It makes them look more like games. With the old pixel-y graphics and bleep sounds. ^^

I dont like that much these new Playstation 2 or X box games. Maybe only few of them are good, and its a shame :(

  • The Atari 2600 has 128 bytes of RAM built into the console. The Tunnel Runner, Omega Race, and Mountain King carts each have 256 bytes built in. Tripling the available RAM allows for better games.

BTW, Solaris, Millipede, Dig Dug, and some other games have 128 bytes built in. BurgerTime has 2,048 bytes of RAM built in(!)

  • What exactly WAS "RAM Plus" anyway?

  • Added RAM to the system?

  • Correct.

  • Buddy, for Atari 2600, this game has fucking GOOD graphics. It literally has better graphics than some things I have seen on the Playstation 3.

  • I actually have this catridge. Was the only atari game I played even when I got my NES. I've noticed the emulator lists it as rare...and I distinctly remember getting it in a 2-dollar bargain bin at KB toys when I was 7 ;)
